God and clean, a smal hotel with app 50 rooms located in a quiet small street. Very small room but a great bed. Breakfast was very french and very good. We would have given this hotel 4 stars, but when you enter this hotel the staff do not say hello! Very strange, it is a very small reception, and even...

For my birthday my other half decided we would do a 2 day (1 night) trip to Paris, so I had the mission of looking for somewhere to stay and stumbled across this hotel. The Ibis Styles is well located, very reasonably priced and with fantastic staff / service. We were allowed to leave our bags in a luggage room...

This hotel is situated in nice neighbourhood - clean, calm and safe. Location itself is very good - easy to get from and to airports (both Orly and CDG) by les cars Air France (the stop is just next to Gare Montparnasse), some 8 minutes of walking and you are on place. We also had nice walking to the center...

We have often used Ibis hotels because they are basic but comfortable. This one did not live up to usual standards. We were given a twin room so small only one person could move around at any one time, it was dusty and the air-con could not be switched off. When we asked for another room we were told they...

This Ibis Style is in a local and calm neigborhood, with metro and train station near by. The room is small but confortable and very clean. The breakfast is delicious, you can get fresh orange juice, cereal, croissant, almost everything you want. It's not cheap, but as it's in Paris the price is fine.

Hi, The hotel location was very good and close to the Paris Expo. About 4 station from the Expo. BUT: The breakfast area was very small with one lady without any English. The lady was watching the guests how they eat or drink, the situation was very un comfortable. I was worry to take one more coffee, because I feel...

A small, relatively new hotel in a very good and safe location. The bus stop was very close and the Metro line had direct access-no connections-to the center. Our room (34) was small-this is Paris after all- but convenient (for a weekend or so it was perfect, but if you intent to stay longer bear in mind there is no...

Writing this review so travelers can find a decent alternative to this hotel. I have 45 years of staying in all kinds of hotels across the world and found some excuses (in the middle of Turkey, Romania, China, Middle East, Africa) I could not find in Paris in a 3 stars hotel, when it doesn't deserve more than 1/2 a...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
