Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make

The Hotel is right next to the Metro and connects to anywhere in Paris very easily.. The best stop for the Tower is probably Bir Hakeim but if you have time then get off on the river at Alma or Iena and enjoy a walk along the Seine then cross via one of the many bridges to get across to the Tower. There is a market opposite the hotel on Sunday morning which my wife informs me was a "must visit" but there are other more famous markets all over Paris on a Sunday as well. Finally you have to visit The Louvre if you hve any appreciation of art - it will just blow your mind.
