Booked this small hotel as one of my business associates stayed there during an exhibition. It located conveniently just near the Porte d'Orleans metro station and the T3a tram line. The area around is a a more typical residential area of Paris, which is quite nice, because the cafes and shops around are local and oriented towards tourists. I booked...

We stayed here over Valentine's Day week. The warm welcome was just what we needed after a long journey. Maria was so kind and lovely. She gave us lots of information. Our room was fantastic. Very clean and tidy. We would highly recommend this place

Good hotel near all amenities and easy means of transport connections. The staff are very sympathique and nice to talk to. The beds are well made and clean! Just a few meters away you can connect to any part of Paris using train, buses, taxis, Trams, etc and you can go to the airports Charles de Guale very easily. There...

I have been staying in the hotel for a week on a business trip. The hotel is lovely, the room was clean and big (I lived in Paris, trust me I know the standards). Mine had a lovely view on Eiffel and Montparnasse towers. Metro and bus outside the door, from which you can easily reach most places in Paris....

Sitting in a quiet side alley to Boulevards des Maréchaux. Small bar and sitting group in the reception area. Reception open 24/7, English speaking and friendly. Our room was large for Parisian hotels, clean and tidy. The bathroom was newly renovated, albeit a bit small and somewhat cold. We chose to eat breakfast at nearby bars, the pretty ordinary breakfast...

Great location, around the corner from the Porte d'Orleans metro station. Lively area but hotel in quieter street. Not close to main attractions but with the metro you're downtown in 20-30 minutes. Two extremely convenient grocery stores one minute walk from hotel. Entrance looks shabby but rooms are very nice, spacious, nicely decorated and above all clean. Safe, hair dryer,...

Arrived early at hotel and as room was ready allied immediate access. The proprietor Maria was simply perfect. She went through tourist maps with bus and metro connections, gave advice on tickets and where to visit. The bus station and metro were both within 100 m of hotel which meant we were well located for all major sights and travel...

We stayed for 2 nights recently having stayed in the area before. What a lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great. Great transport links nearby and lots of nice cafes on the doorstep. Would stay again.

We spent four nights at Virgina on our vacation trip to Paris. As we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and asked us if we need some advice. He took his time and recommended a few nice places to visit. Generally it's a very clean and comfortable hotel. We had breakfast included and it was worth the money.

Great location near underground and tram stations, many supermarkets are also nearby. Friendly staff, clean, nice and air-conditioned room and fast WiFi. Bathroom was quite small, but very clean. Water was warm with good pressure. Breakfast in hotel was quite small.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
