Not a five star hotel, but clean and well equipped rooms. Large flat screen TV with international channels, nice bath room, good beds. Staff is really nice. Very close to metro station. Its at a busy intersection so expect some traffic noise. Would I come back? After several admittedly cheap hotels in Paris over the past years: yes, this is...

Nothing marvellous here but it is clear and not too expansive. Rooms are not very large, as usual in Paris, but you have enough place to circulate in your room and to store your belongings. That corner of Paris is plenty of restaurants and shops, so you may find what you need. And most monuments can easily be reached from...

The hotel location is very convenient for the use of the Metro, as the Metro is just 3 minutes away. There are several restaurants and bakeries close in the area. Shopping centre and streets are a few meters away. The room was small (for 2 pesons is a bit challenging, but usually in Paris rooms are very small and this is...

First time in Paris and picked Berkeley based on price and proximity to Gare Montparnasse. I walked to Notre Damme, Louvre and great restaurants. Staff was very helpful in giving directions and even calling to make restaurant reservation. Room was very clean and had great view. I will plan on staying here on my next visit to this amazing city.

We had a nice stay! The location is very convenient for the use of the Metro as well as for walking towards nice creperies, the Luxemburg gardens and even the Latin Quarter. The room was clean, quiet, warm and nice in general. Value for money was really high!

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
