Very clean, room on small side but everything we needed for our 4 day visit to Paris. Shower excellent, staff friendly. Central to most attractions. Two metro stations within 5 mins walk. We enjoyed a room facing front overlooking railway line bit noisy but didn't really bother us as liked the views

The hotel as such is good. The problem is the noise you hear at night due to the fact that there is a hospital and a train station near. Ambulances and trains are very frequent and, personally, I found it quite annoying and couldn't sleep well.

Good location for train and restaurants. Ten minute walk to Gare Austerlitz. Safe area for walking anytime. Clean and well maintained. Rooms small but typical for Paris. Some staff friendly, some not but not rude. Would use again.

The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The lift is rather small but at least there is one. Each staff member we spoke to was great and made us feel very welcome. The location is good, there are 2 metro stations within a couple of minutes walk and a good choice of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. If you don't...

The hotel is not in the center of Paris, not so much shopping and restaurants in nearby areas. The hotel is close to a subway. Not so the breakfast was not worth the miner, we brought breakfast at a nearby McDonald's instead.

Good location, near enough to all top attractions. A few minutes walking from a metro station. Room clean, comfortable and great shower. Stayed for 3 nights. Not too noisy. Didn't get breakfast included at hotel but plenty of cafes around doing breakfast deals. Would stay again.

A very enjoyable three night sojourn in an ideal location. The staff could not have been more helpful and everything functioned perfectly in quiet, spotless comfort. We will certainly return when next in Paris.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. It was fabulous and we couldn't fault it at all. They did everything they could to accommodate us. The location is perfect for either walking or metros. The rooms are immaculate and ours had a small balcony which was great for airing clothes and soaking in the beautiful view at night. Overall...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
