The Hotel Gabriel is well situated for exploring the City. For those wishing to walk (the best way to explore Paris) the hotel is within reasonably comfortable walking distance of the Seine, numerous shops and museums. I would recommend the Rue de Rambuteau area for wonderful boulangeries and patisseries;it's about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. If you don't want...

Small hotel but decorated well. Location was suited to were we needed to be but found evening choices limiting to walk on a cold night. Easy to get to from The euro star. Night on the metro. We were upgraded upon arrival to a bigger room but it alarmed me how small the previous room must have been!! The bar...

Quaint meets modern in a great way at this little boutique hotel. Rooms are small but comfortable for two. Breakfast area is pretty and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. Less than a 5 minute walk from the train. Did not love this area of Paris, but the hotel was a good fit for our needs to rest up...

We spent a week in Paris and the Hotel Gabriel was fabulous. It is really close to Oberkampf train station, there is a laundromat and supermarket around the corner and a wide choice of Bolangeries. Valeria was amazing at reception and so helpful with information and advice. The only negative was poor lighting in the room, but we were out...

Very nice staff, great decorations/design & cleanliness of this hotel which is also very well situated. The only weak point is the lack of choice for breakfast. Mainly industrial + sugar-oriented food. The bread was great, though. Yet, that is pointed out just for the record, to point things that can be improved. Because I will recommand this hotel to...

I made a huge mistake staying here, the customer service was poor.I complained about a water shower/flush noise on the 1-12-2016 which woke me out of my sleep I frantically woke up thinking I had left the shower on but it was coming from upstairs.I made my way down to reception to let the man know he took about 15mins to...

I had heard from a lot of people who visited Paris earlier that it's important to find clean rooms and this hotel totally complied to it. The room size was extremely small with barely space to move around as usually we are used to spacious rooms when we travel. But for the price of it, the hotel and services were...

I was in Paris for only one night and chose the hotel for its price, and I was pleased with this small and quaint hotel. Everything new, good reception, good breakfast, rooms small but very smartly decorated and organized.

We walked through the doors and thought, "Yes, this is the place to stay in Paris!" So close to everything, subway stations, great restaurants, and sights of the real neighbourhood near the Place de Republic, another great Parisian landmark. We were on the top floor with a Mary Poppins rooftop view and could see the sun rise every morning. What...
