Transportation from this location is very easy. The only concern might be the lack of air-conditioning especially during the summer! The location is very convenient and the receptionist was helpful, giving directions in excellent english!

Reasonably clean and very basic but great location and incredibly cheap. I wouldn't take my wife there for a romantic weekend but if in Paris to go to Stade de France with friends again I would stay there again. 1 right next to Gare de l'Est and 5 minutes from Gare de Nord.

We stayed for 1 night. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a old building but the rooms are all new and very clean. Good location just next to the Gare du Est. Would stay there again :)

Small room but with good, modern fittings. Comfortable bed, good make TV. Bathroom small but nicely fitted out with excellent, but a little cramped, shower. Lovely fluffy towels (a rarity in most hotels) Very good breakfast for the price. Our room, top floor at the front, was incredibly noisy, rabble outside still going on at 3 in the morning.

The female staff was friendly. The room was very small but standard for Paris. It did have a private bathroom, although quite smelly, The room itself was generally clean and it has a little balcony, The amenities were fit for purpose and the bed was a decent size. The location was great as you had many restaurants, cafes and bars...

I stay several times en-route to Russia and the hotel is always very friendly and clean and has been nicely refurbished. It is very convenient for the rail stations. If you book in advance the rate is very reasonable.

- Very friendly staff throughout the hotel. - Great room that was very hygeinically kept, with towels and sheets being replenished daily. - Fun atmosphere in the hotel. - Easy place to relax unhindered.

Hotels around the northern terminus stations can be a bit ropey and sure it lacks a plush entrance but the rooms and en suite are superb value, the staff work hard and are helpful. Well worth the cost

Perfect location and very easy to find. Metro station on the doorstep, and great cafe around the corner for breakfast for 7 euros. Rooms are small but this was expected. The hotel staff were extremely polite and went above and beyond! Would happily return.
