This hotel was wonderfully located in a safe, yet lively section of Paris and incredibly close to a metro. I loved the many cafe, bars and shops around, and also loved that it was a 15 minute walk to the Louvre and the River Seine. The room was incredibly cute and clean. It felt very cosy and Parisian. Not to...

Overall good hotel, small, cute on the outside. Room we had was also small but expected. Serve a very nice continental breakfast and desk staff very helpful. Location was good close to metro and major routes to walk or take metro to tourist attractions.

This chic and trendy little hotel, just off the busy part of Paris, has stolen my heart! It provided for our every need whilst providing an quiet oasis to rejuvinate after being again over-stimulated by the beauty of the city. The good experience already started with making the electronic revervation. Luis was extremely helpful. And meeting him in person did...

We had a great stay. Staff was very helpful and location was close to a metro stop. The bathroom seemed recently renovated and the room was old like most things in Paris but charming and clean. Would definitely stay again. Great little restaurant and bar a few yards away with tasty food and polite service.

The hotel is perfectly located! Very clean, nice atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are not big but more than enough! I particularly liked the location in a very safe, lively and pleasant part of Paris... I can only highly recommend the place!

A decent hotel in a nice and exiting neighbourhood. The hotel is located in a little side street away from the traffic. Stayed there for 2 nights, the hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was not impressive, my suggestion would be to have breakfast in one of the bistro's in the area. Downside was that after the first night...

We stayed at the Hotel de la cite Rougemont for five nights in April 2016. Our room was compact but clean and quiet with a nice size bathroom, adequately supplied with towels, hair dryer and other necessities. The breakfast was sufficient with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt and various cereals. The staff was helpful. We would stay again if the the...

We stayed four nights and found the hotel to be very good value. The room was quite small but very comfortable and clean. Who wants to linger in your hotel room when you are in Paris anyway? The location is convenient for the metro and the OpenTour buses, as well as places to eat or have breakfast if you don't...

Small room along the end of a narrow corridor with two single beds. Neat and tidy with very limited facilities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A little difficult to find, tucked away in a small courtyard, so make sure you know where you're going. Very handy for Metro (150 mtrs). Can't complain for the price.

The hotel was very clean and very close to the metro station in a very nice location. It took us 15-20 minutes walking to get to the Louvre museum. All the staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. We stayed for four nights.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
