We arrived after 10pm to a warm smile. The room was warm and cosy with a big window to open over the street. On the 4th floor - we were high and everything was quiet. The room was small and the bathroom even smaller but I expect that in Paris where all the rooms seem small. The bed was comfy,...

The rooms are small but the hotel is perfectly located in Marais. The reception is friendly and helpful and the cleaning of the rooms is perfect. I am sure that we will return to this hotel the next time we travel to Paris.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Not only was it a great location but very pleased with their service! The front desk were friendly and helpful. Only quirky thing to note is that you have to leave your hotel key at the front desk when you leave for the day. Also, make sure to request a room on the 7th floor!...

Don't compare this to an all-out luxury hotel. But if what you want is a real bargain in an amazing neighborhood -- this place is terrific. Pros: Staff were very nice, and loaned me an extra blanket and a US->France plug converter when I asked. Oh -- and they set me up with an amazing deal on a private car...

We booked this hotel as a (relatively) inexpensive way to spend a night in Paris after cycling over from London during the Euro 2016 football championships. The plan had been to drop off our bikes at Eurostar but, upon arrival, all the staff at the Gare du Nord had clocked-off early to go and watch the football, leaving us with...

This hotel is in a great location. Close to a metro stop, cafes and restaurants, shopping and sightseeing locations. The staff for the most part were very nice and helpful. The lobby looks a little dated but overall clean. The room I got was on the seventh floor which the elevator only went to the 6th floor so we had...

This hotel is terrible! I was first directed to the wrong room by the receptionist. I booked a family room. I was directed to a Double room! I was then given a room on the road. There is a club opposite who have complete disregard for everyone around and were playing disco music. It was so noisy I had to...

Nice hotel, but if you get a room facing the main road do remember people can see you inside your room. Close to a supermarket around the corner and a cheap Asian restaurant up the road. Opposite a pub, so be warned, can be very noisy. A small shop under the hotel is expensive, ask the front counter about the...

First time in Paris and loved the Marais area. The hotel is convenient-we are walkers. It is about 3 miles to the Eiffel tower and Arc. A quick walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame is across the bridge. There is a Starbucks across the street which was awesome as we like large cups of coffee. The front desk employees...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
