Dear Mr Malcolm

Although the location is excellent and the staff quite friendly, the hotel needs a big renovation. The room was quite small and old. The bedcover, the curtains, the cover must have been around since Antoinette. The bathroom was quite bad. The sink was dripping, the...More

If you are getting off at Gare du Nord, then I would get a taxi from there, which are plentiful. This is what I did anyway. I can't recall how much this cost, but the position of the hotel means that whilst it is not really very far, a metro journey from Gare du Nord is quite complicated and requires a few changes. If you are on the Metro get off at Tulleries or Pyramides and walk: it is pretty close to there. You will like it, and location is great.
