Nice, clean and quiet on side street in Montmartre. Very helpful staff that sorted restaurant bookings out for us. The rooms were very nice with old beams visible. Highly recommended! The rooms were very nice with old beams visible. Highly recommended!

We stayed here on our last night of a trip to France. Our earlier stay in Paris was in the 11th arrondissement. This was very different, much more touristic! The hotel was very comfortable and clean, and wonderfully located, very close to le Moulin Rouge. And Amelie's cafe. Wifi was difficult to access. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room...

We stayed here for 3 nights during some very hot weather so were very grateful that the rooms had efficient air-con. The room (we had a comfort room) and bathroom were fine, breakfast was adequate, the staff were polite and efficient. We had bikes with us and they were happy for us to store them in their courtyard. The location...

Convenient location for accessing countless Montmartre shops and restaurants, also near the metro. Nice area to walk around. Good service and helpful staff. Comfortably furnished room and bathroom. AC in the room is very useful in July. The room is well soundproof. Minor quirk - wi-fi could have been more reliable, and without the weird login system the hotel has...

Wonderful location . Typified a boutique atmosphere . Rooms quaint and tidy . The staff went above and beyond and I felt like one of the family . Absolutely loved it. I had family staying elsewhere and they were made welcome to visit and the hotel staff even helped them with luggage storage and forward bookings . One minute walk...

Stayed there last year when I was visiting Maison et Objet expo. It was my wife's choice as she likes small boutique hotels with a strong local character. Location is nice depending which way are you going. Towards Montmartre yes it's nice and interesting but towards the main road and the region where is Moulin Rouge and the other Cabarets...

This hotel is well run. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us find restaurants and our way to various attractions in Europe. (and helped us to find our way to Gare du Nord to return our rental car- and unload our car.) The hotel has a cute patio so you could enjoy your coffee there. Our room...

We spent a week at Le Relais Montmartre in June. It is a 3-star hotel one block from Rue des Abbess, two blocks from the Blanche metro stop (slightly uphill), 3-4 blocks from Abbess metro stop, and a little farther to the funicular leading up to Sacre Coeur. Rue des Abbess is a major tourist street; lots of cafes, bars,...

The staff excellent - friendly, helpful and tolerant of my "French". Location of the hotel is excellent near metro Room was spacious and comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet was good, good choice and plenty of it. Very relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. I will come again. merci beaucoup!

This stylish boutique hotel has the true essence of Paris, flowered bedspreads, flowered drapes and painted ceiling beams. The downstairs cellar serves a lovely breakfast every morning. On warm days breakfast can be eaten in a small courtyard. We stayed in the classic double at the start of our trip. The classic is a bit small and the bathroom was...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
