Was a simple hotel, but modern, clean and very welcoming. Great location in the St. Germain area. The surrounding area was quiet and safe! The room was quite small, but it was perfect for us, we simply needed a relaxing place to stay!

This is a well located hotel, close to the Gardens Luxembourg, cafes, restaurants and bookshops, and a 5 minute walk to St Germain des Pres. The bus and metro system well suit our normal arrival from Gare de Bercy and Gare de Lyon. I like the fresh modern décor and the clean well functioning bathrooms. The water pressure in the... More

I love this hotel and have been coming to stay there for over twenty years. It is uncomplicated and perfectly placed for anything you want to do in Paris. The rooms are clean and quiet and the price is excellent for central Paris.

Perfect location next to the theatre, quiet litlle traffic, next to subway odeon and jardins du luxembourg. Confortable bed and nicely refurbished.wi fi connection could be improved though. We had a triple room with a huge bathroom compared to parisian standards and the two star rating. I certainly would recommend this hotel!

We had 3 days post Morocco in Paris and wanted to stroll, enjoy the cafes and look for movie locations from "Midnight in Paris." I booked the basic room, which was very tiny and disappointing, but the desk staff graciously moved us to a larger room which was much nicer and better for our needs. We were walking distance from... Excellent location! This hotel was an easy 10-minute (if that) walk south from the Odeon Metro. As a single adult traveler with 2 elementary-aged kids, I found it to be safe and clean with someone at the desk 24-hours a day. The staff was helpful and welcoming (most spoke enough English; my French is nonexistent). Daily English newspaper to share... More

If you want to stay in St Germain area, this is a small hotel close to subway & nice restaurants and Notre Dame. I arrived at 2pm, the right check-in time. The cleaning lady was still cleaning my room and acted like she had all the time and did not really mind that I was there! However the receptionist solved... More

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your comments on TripAdvisor and remember our so good localisation. The maids must be discreet and efficients. Maybe next time leave your luguage at the reception, have a walk at the Luxembourg garden, 2 minutes from the hotel. Best regards. Delphine More

Nice hotel very well located at 20 minutes walking distance from Notre-Dame, Le Louvre and La Seine. Clean and affordable, just next to Jardin du Luxebourg and the Odeon We loved our stay, not the most luxurious but perfect as a base to explore Paris

compared to other hotels in this category, the room was rather big. Near from Jardins du Luxembourg, it´s a quiet hotel, not a luxury one, but pleasant and centrally located. There are plenty of good small restaurants and cafés in St-Germain. We´ll certainly come back again.

Im writing this review and we haven't even checked out yet. As hard and expensive finding a hotel in Paris, let alone in the nice area of St Germain, this 2-star really stands out. The location is great (restaurants, cafes, metro, etc), the staff are really friendly the rooms are small (like anywhere in Paris) but well appointed and has... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
