Overall OK. Hotel in a side street which was often lively but not unsafe if you are sensible. Good value for location and walking distance for Sacre Coeur/Montmartre area. Bars, eateries and supermarket nearby. General area around Metro is very busy at night, certainly somewhere to be careful in but did not feel unsafe if you know what to look... More

2 adults and 3 children. The area is not perfect for walking alone in the night. Rooms is okay, but the bathrooms is very small. The rooms are worn, but "okay clean". The fridge and services was dirty... Helpful and friendly staff. Parking in basement was perfect!

The room was modern and clean, with toiletries included. However, there was no air conditioning or a fan, and it was extremely hot during the summer. No coffee-making facilities in the room, but we were allowed to use the water boiler as needed at the breakfast area next to reception. The staff were pleasant, some less so than others but... More

It was a really nice hotel for the price. Me and my better half stayed for two nights while we were traveling through Paris. The location is in a kind of run down area but there is a lot to do around the hotel itself. Comfortable beds, clean furniture, and a decent bathroom.

I've never felt the need to write a review however I do always read them and take with a pinch of salt the negative comments, some people expect the ritz for the price of A travel lodge. So anyway myself my husband and 10 year old son booked to stay at this hotel through a last minute.com package deal the... More

The location is a dive, The area is very run down and intimidating especially for a young family. The room did not look anything like that in the pictures in fact far from it. We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of narrow winding stairs and the room had food left in the fridge and microwave The shower... More

Myself and two friends went to Paris as a last minute trip and stayed in Hotel Sofia. Our flight from Dublin was at 6:25am on a Sunday morning so we arrived at the hotel very clearly. The woman on reception was very lovely and had very good English. She allowed us to leave our bags downstairs while we were getting... More

Me and a group of friends booked to stay here for just over 2 weeks for Euro 2016. The hotel was tidy and basic which is what we expected. The receptionist was also great allowing us NI fans to bring carryouts of beer into reception and allowed us to drink them there. One thing i will say that is poor... More

I stayed here with a group of my girl friends at the beginning of the year. We got a cheap deal on the room and we were expecting the mediocre state we found the rooms in. It was very clean so we couldn't complain. Although the rooms are small, it is a boutique hotel in Paris so that is to... More

The room? Bathroom door wouldn't shut, the one bed was imprinted in the middle and was very uncomfortable to sleep in, the wifi was AWFUL (constantly disconnecting and if it did work there was only one bar), no A/C.. and the room didn't look as advertised on the website. - to turn on the lights, you had to put your... Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
