the hotel is in a very nice area, close to place de la Republique, very cheap being in Paris, but not very clean... and there wasn't the elevator and we were at the 4th floor! Fortunately it has been only for 1 night

I live across the street from the hotel and I have a unique perspective on it. I have never stayed there but I can see into one of the rooms and it looks filthy and run down. Also, if the lobby is any indication, this place is a dump. The bathrooms are apparently shared so you might as well stay... More

The hotel was warm and comfortable. The price was reasonable for the location, right in the centre of Paris, with a less than 5 minute walk to 2 Metro stations. The free WiFi worked pretty well too. Not so great was the man on reception, he was extremely rude and took ages to find my reservation. Also the shower cubicle... More

I arrived at this sh*****e at around 10pm, went out for couple of hours and back to the hotel at about 2am. Undressed, in bed, looking for some stuff to for the next day, I felt something on my skin, in hair, feet. I thought it was my mind making stuff up as usual it does in hotels. But it... More

Well we certainly got what we paid for. Looking for a modestly priced hotel in a good location we found this as being the cheapest. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a typical French don't-care-attitude employee who didn't speak english and took ages to book us in. The room was horribly small and crumbling by the years of poor maintenance.... More

The photos do not match the facilities. The door to enter in the shower is less then 10 inches wide. No elevator, stair steps have diferent sizes (danger). But it is clean, cheap and in a fine place, near two metro stations, bistreaus, boulangeries and coffees.

dirty, used and smelly place with a shared toilet and tiny shower with used (?) towels and filthy bed linen. The floor was dirty, I was affraid to touch anything. Really good location and quite helpful staff at the reception. But the overall estimation in strongly negative, sometimes it is not worth to save few euros for the cheapes place... More

We meant to stay here for 3 nights, but quickly changed our minds after one sleepless night. I fully get the 'you get what you pay for' mentality, but there are way better places for the same money in walking distance. Apart from the location it's awful in every single way, staff, bed (ughh!!!), shared bathroom (if you can call... More

This hotel was awful. I was forced to stay here, after my reservation at the Hotel Du Centre was overbooked (another hotel to avoid.). Apparently, they're owned by the same family. Either way, the room was disgusting... which is an absolute understatement. The floor was dirty and complete with dead bugs. There was trash and dust balls underneath the bed.... More

I had a reservation at this hotel and got back before the room is ready to get in. When I got back in the end of the day, there was water in the floor, dirty towels and smoking smell. I did not stay. Lost 50 euros because the previous reservation. I found another hotel near by for the same price... More
