It was dirty to the point I had to leave the moment I walked into the room. We were promised a clean place in March but when we arrived in July the room we were shown to smelled smoke and it was absolutely filthy. What...More

Hotel Gay-Lussac is a very good location, near to the metro station RER Luxembourg and Luxembourg park and Phantenon. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Nearby are lot of restaurants. Friendly staff. Room was quite big comparing to the Paris hotels...More

I really loved this place. Stylish boutique hotel, very close to Luxembourg gardens, RER B station Luxembourg (direct to Gare du Nord and Roissy airport). Clean rooms, rather spacious for Paris :) Good breakfast, friendly stuff and good location.

This was my first trip to Paris and Hotel Gay-Lussac was the perfect location. We could walk to Notre Dame in 20 minutes or the metro in 3 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go. There is a bakery next door or another one...More

I would second the comments of TravelFranceOnline. A boutique hotel with a friendly staff and a good location. To be more helpful, I would only add that breakfast is optional, eight euros/adult and four euros/child. It is store bought but still good.

        Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,
architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The

by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
celebrates the great men and women of France. During
