Nice hotel near plenty of transport links and a 15 min walk from the main party areas of Paris. Hotel room is basic but clean and tidy. A few restaurants and shops are nearby so you can stock up the room if needed.

Not much to say, very basic room, kinda old, fairly clean. Room is small, bathroom is tiny. It is very affordable though. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I would stay there again, but only for a day or two.

A quaint but charming small place. Clean with comfortable beds. Rooms and elevators are small but cozy. Great location convenient to bus and attractions. Not the most modern but real Paris with wonderful staff who try very hard to accommodate.

Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made
for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming
bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s
at night this area really comes to life. Students and
young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille
and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock
to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait
