The hotel is well situated and the room was clean. But it is so noisy. You can hear the neighbors talking and on saturday morning at 7 o'clock they were vacuum cleaning! The staff is not friendly and seems annoyed.

Dear Larissa, First of all, thank you for taking the time to post your review on our hotel. We are happy to see that you enjoyed our location as well as the hotel cleanliness. Most of our customers do post positive comments on our staff. It saddens me that you did not feel that they were friendly. We will investigate...

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It is a couple of easy blocks from the Gare de Lyon TGV/RER/Metro Station. It is also only a few block walk to the Bastille monument as well. The front desk was bilingual, very helpful, friendly and courteous. Our room was on the top floor (5th floor) and had five full beds for larger...

Dear Scott, Thanks for your great comment. We truly appreciate it. Our location is indeed ideal to commute in Paris. We strive to be as helpful as we can especially for our foreign guests that need guidance in Paris. Family rooms are not so common in Paris, so we are glad you could enjoy them. As you would absolutely stay...

Where do I start? Angelo, Antonietta, Amin, and then Alex. The staff is epic. Usually, you like the night person and not the morning person or vice-versa. But if you see this team like a relay, they would beat everyone because they change off with the same attitude. The rooms are brilliant with a desk (in this room) to type...

Gwendaline was so helpful!. Rooms are small but we are perfectly fine with that. Bathroom is spacious. If I can still recall my room no was 206, the windows are facing the alley street. And at least 4 halal restaurants nearby. Would love to stay here again!

Hotel Alexandrie is a great little hotel off the main streets, and so a bit quieter than those hotels on Bvd Diderot or Rue de Leonard still only a 5 min or less walk to the train. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room I had (double) was a reasonable size, a little tired, but clean. Wifi was free...

Good location in a quiet street. My room was functional with clean bathroom and clean bed. However, the walls and the carpet ask for an urgent change. Overall, if you are not too picky you will be fine. Personnel was quite nice. I didn't try the breakfast.

As an overnight stop near the Gare de Lyon, Hotel Alexandrie fitted the bill fine. I booked on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews and comparative prices and got what I wanted. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small and old but clean. Bathroom surprisingly large. Air conditioning was old and not able to keep up with sweltering Paris...
