The hotel located 5 min walk to Mountmartre and 2 min to subway station. The room and bathroom are very small, but we like the location, very helpful staff, clean towels every day and hot shower. I can recommend the hotel for everyone, who d like to stay in paris in budget.

The area espesially near the undeground is like hidden Paris (scary and unsafe!), even though close to the Nord station and Monmartre. The room was clean enough but without any bedside furnuture, with 2 chairs for 3 people. The hotel was full with teenage groups and it was impossible to rest during the night (which was the reason we stayed...

The roon where to small, shower are to small, beds, the roon where not that clean, the worse think was the neighborhood, and that the hotel can not do anything, but definitely it is not a good neighborhood for familys, has to be very carefull.

Stayed 4 nights with 19 students aged 13-16yrs in the hotel. Some rooms (6th floor) had view on Sacre Coeur & Eiffeltower. Rooms very simple with enough space for everybody. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is coffie / hot chocolate with baguette and jam. Students very happy with it. About the elevator: it is indeed not to be used...

The hotel is very compact, in an interesting area at night. Shower and toilet , only really able to take slim people. Which we are. Small radiator in the room. No lift.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Wooden spiral type staircase and very small lift, no 'room with a view', no A/C unit, no grand entrance”

“Breakfast was minimal for the price paid which consists mostly of croissant, toast, stale cake, cereal, bread with an assortments of spreads (jam, nutella and honey - unlimited). Butter was supplied was limited to 1 per person. I think the option of cheese and boiled eggs at a minimum would have been appreciated by guests. Coffees were really great! At the time visited it was extremely hot. The air-conditioners in rooms worked intermittently and was outdated.”
