This is a charming little hotel across the street from the main entrance to Versailles. It was a nice break from the bustle of central Paris. The rooms are nice and ours opened into a courtyard. We passed on the breakfast. The town of Versailles is a charming little town filled with little shops restaurants, and tapas bars. There is...

After having visited Paris during one of the hottest days of the heat wave, taking the train into Versailles and then walking to the Hotel de France we were relieved to find a cozy room with air conditioning. Although we had to wait for a little in the lobby for what seemed like no reason at all, we were delighted...

The best thing about this hotel is its ideal location for visiting Versailles. The room was clean and comfortable and had a partial view of the palace, but it was dated looking and had a damp patch on the wall. The bathroom was traditional marble with a decent over bath shower. Reception was welcoming but not always available. Overnight parking...

Friendly & welcoming ...good sized rooms overlooking the square which in the summer must be a delightful place for lunch & evening drinks. The restaurant was divine with excellent food where you get a 15% discount on your bill if you are a hotel resident!!

The location is a spitting distance from the palace - across the road! Forget the fancy places around here, this is an honest hotel with great service, good bed, good food. If you are here for a night, go here as it is near everything in town. Parking has a secret answer, ask the front desk :) I love it.

This is a lovely period building that has a small elevator to take you to different floor. The bathroom gave you a full 360 view of yourself, but the room was comfortable and big enough for three. Its location so close to the Chateau was fantastic. We were able to turn in our rental car after unloading our belongs, which...

We had a room facing the courtyard. Great Room. High ceilings antique furnishings and quiet. Located across from Versailles, I ran the Gardens in the morning for free. Helluva experience. Eat at this Hotel you will not be disappointed. The staff, especially the check in person was terrific.

We booked online for five nights in this period building located just five minutes walk from the main gates of Versailles Chateau. It's a ten minute walk from Versailles Rive Gauche train station, which takes you into central Paris on line RER C in around 30 minutes. Our room (108) was located on the first floor towards the back of...

We selected this hotel due its location (very near Versailles). Unfortunately, if you are driving, the fact that you have to park (and pay about 22E a night) at a garage about 20 mins. away, negated the closeness to Versailles. Our room was small, which would have been OK, except that it smelled a putrid smell that was especially strong...

Stayed for 2 nights and first room over looked street and palace but musty damp smell meant we moved rooms. Courtyard was noisy though. Breakfast looked Parisian so we opted to go coffee shop and actually sit with the locals near market which was fantastic. My wife visited palace whilst I had business meeting she spent 5 hours and thought...
