What an elegant, charming, boutique hotel! Extremely friendly staff, beautiful breakfast, great location. The home was originally built in 1863 and the 18 room hotel carries that charm. It is a bit difficult to find but worth the effort. I highly recommend this hotel as we stayed here 3 nights while touring the champagne region. I would definitely stay here... More

Stayed here for 8 days during a photography trip in the region. Anne could not have been more welcoming. We had room 4 at the front of the building. Beautifully designed room, wonderful furnishings and a really comfy bed. Toilet and bathroom were kept spotlessly clean and the little wardrobes in the corner of each room were actually really roomy... More

This hotel has no air-conditioning, which was missed, but was not uncomfortable. It appears to be ancient and the stairways are heavy stone/concrete, much like the walls of the town of Aigues-Mortes. It is not handicapped friendly. No elevators. The owner was delightful. The room was clean, bedding changed daily. Breakfast was included with the room and it consisted of... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a week-long photography trip to the Camargue. The hotel provides a beautiful, relaxing place to stay in Aigues Mortes. The hotel owner was gracious and made every effort to meet our needs. Because she knew that we had early morning photographic excursions, she had fresh pastries from a local bakery (still warm)... After a 85k bike ride from Pezenas we were ready for a relaxing rest and decided after scanning the brochures at the Aigues Mortes Information Office, that Hotel Les Templiers fitted the bill nicely. When I say bill we were happy to pay a little extra for something more than 4 walls and a TV set! In fact as we'd... More

We arrived on a photography trip to stay for 10days, minus our bags courtesy of a well-known budget airline and a lightning strike at gatwick. The owner was incredibly sweet and even offered to lend me a bikini! Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, comfy beds, highly recommended.

Yes, the owner could be a lot more friendly...but don't take it personally. It's not your cheapest option in Aigues-Mortes, but if you book in advance directly with the hotel, you might get breakfast thrown in. Here are the plusses... 1.) Very tastefully and authentically decorated hotel --> feels like a home 2.) Few rooms with high ceilings and comfortable,... More

I have been coming back to this hotel year after year. It is 3 star and is a beautiful stone building situated in a cobble stoned and pedestrianised street in Aigues Mortes which is one of France's best kept secrets. Unlike the pretentious Nice or Cannes, Aigues Mortes is a historic walled city in the Camargue. The city is stunning... More

Came upon this place merely because our first choice, Le Mazarin, was fully-booked. What a stroke of luck! This lovely little hotel is a bugger to get to, down a very narrow side-street in a town that specializes in the genre. The owner and staff are charming and relaxed to the point of catatonic...although this may be explained because we... More

This hotel is inside the town of Aigues-Mortes, a great walking town. This was a nifty little hotel, our room was spacious and clean with a huge tiled bathroom with spigots coming out of several places in the wall. We tried to figure them out but ended up talking ordinary showers. There was a definite language barrier but were able... More
