We really enjoyed our one night stay. The hotel was exactly as described in previous reviews here - tastefully renovated old building with a heated indoor swimming pool and lovely dining area (unfortunately, we did not sample the cuisine). The two staff members we met - Clio (? not sure of the splling of her name) and David - were...

Beautiful hotel with superb interior decor and well finished rooms. Lovely garden and swimming pool. Underground car parking. Stayed here for 3 days and really liked this hotel. Well loctaed for centre of Aigue-Mortes but away from the centre so quiet in evenings. Restaurant not available but didn't matter because there are so many to choose from in Aigue-Mortes.

I chose Aigues Mortes and Villa Mazarin from the Tripadvisor reviews, as the perfect setting in which to propose to my girlfriend. It could not have been a better choice and the whole holiday was as romantic and as I had planned. Mazarin is a very good hotel, well run by charming and gentle staff. It is tastefully decorated, clean,...

We had booked a week further down the coast at Argeles sur mer, but the place we had booked on-line turned out to be absolutely disgusting so we didn't check in, preferring to lose our deposit and chalk it up to experience. All's well that ends well - we found this beautiful little jewel of a hotel in a beautiful...

The positive reviews alreadty on here were confirmed by our 4-night stay. We had one of the suites with an extra bed - there was plenty of room. Although it was late July, we sometimes felt we had the place to ourselves. It was so comfortable and peaceful, we were reluctant to step out from the lovely courtyard and pool...

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is within the medivial city walls which makes it easy to explore the village, the sights and the restaurants. The hotel offers a convenient underground parking (otherwise difficult to park in the tiny streets). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a...

We have just spent three nights at Villa Mazarin and found it a wonderful experience. Having just spent 10 days cruising the Camargue canals in a (tiny) boat we wanted to spoil ourselves before returning home. Our room opened on to the lovely gardens and joy of joys had a huge shower! The bed was big and the linen immaculate....

I stayed two nights in a Superior room. The hotel is a very gracious large villa converted to a hotel. The standard to which the hotel is maintained is VERY high except that the air-con in my room didn't work. The garage 'requires a GPS system to find it' Overall, a good hotel that is let down by the cool...

Of all the places I stayed in a two week tour (10+ hotels all 3 to 5 stars) of southern France Villa Mazarin was my favorite. We stayed in room #6- high exposed beam ceilings, beautiful tiled floors, comfortable single mattress bed (instead of two mattresses pushed together 'italian' beds so common in Europe), clean, nice large bathroom and big...

What a fantastic hotel, small but perfectly formed. The location is excellent for exploring Aigues. The facilities were wonderful, especially the pool (where my two boys spent hours)! We stayed in a luxury queen room which was huge, spotless and beautifully appointed! Perfect for a family of four. The staff spoke excellent English and were always available to help. We...
