I don't think we could have stayed here for any period of time, but we enjoyed the experience for one night. The rooms are sparse, though big with comfy beds and the location is very hand for both the old and new town. It's an experience and we can see the attraction, just not quite for us.

My husband and I stayed at BlocG for two nights in a very comfortable, bright and clean room (we loved the contemporary style!). Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast and great coffee in the courtyard by the friendly staff. Mark was particularly helpful and had a wonderful knowledge of the city and surrounds. He was able to recommend... More

We stayed at BLoc G for 2 nights, and it was fabulous ! The quirkiest room we have ever had ! Fabulous huge bed and great rainfall shower wet room ! Although advertised as no wifi in room, we were put in room 3 which has perfect signal , though I think this is the only room that has. We... More

This place is run by two middle aged trendy ladies. The setting is fantastic just behind the medieval castle. The decor is super funky inside and you can eat outside. It appears they source local, fresh ingredients. The presentation is fabulous. We started with an amazing melon, mint, goat cheese and tomato salad. My lamb brochette was fantastic with eggplant... If you want to visit Carcassonne Medieval City, this hotel is great to stay. It's a contemporary designed hotel, very simple, staff is nice. Unfortunately I had a small accident - hit my head into the entrance door because it was too clear and no sticker or sign on it. And apparently I was not the only one (there was... More

Very clean, bright with an artsy/SoHo loft-y/modernist vibe. Perfect location next to historic bridge and short walk to castle. Restaurant had a really cool, local, non-tourist hip vibe to it. We didn't eat there as a friendly local made us reservations in the walled city. A mistake. Wish we'd eaten at Bloc G. Sofie is a gracious, hardworking hostess. Would... More

Very nice, small hotel at the end of the Pont Vieux (old pedestrian bridge). Hotel is very minimalist, with a huge bathroom, and big windows (I had room nr 4 with a view to the old bridge). Very comfortable and light. Hotel is located at the touristic path to the old city (10-15 min walk). The breakfast was very tasty... More

This B and B is well located for walking around the city. It is well priced also. There is some need of improvement, however. The room could have been cleaner, especially around the edges and in the bath. The toilet room is in a closet off of the foyer into the room, as is the shower. The sink however is... More

This hotel is in a very good location for visiting the castle. The room was very large and ultra modern. Breakfast was basic but good. Free wifi but only available in the restaurant area. The hotel has a restaurant but this was not open on the two days we stayed.
