We stayed 4 nights and were delighted with the location to the old city - it really is ideal in that respect. The room was extremely clean and pleasant enough - typical 'hotel chain' style. However, shortly after we arrived a coach load of young people filled the corridors and we began to worry slightly. At about 6am the next...

Nice hotel in excellent spot for le Cite probably 250 meters from door to door. Rooms clean and decent size. Minor winge is that you only get 2 mini pots of milk for the tea and coffee had to ask for more every day. Try Chez Felix in the Place Du Carnot friendly staff and good prices no finer place...

The room was tiny hardly big enough for the bed let alone anything else. In terms of value for money it offered poor value even with reduction for advance payment. The bathroom decor leaves much to be desired although the shower is excellent but like the room it is very claustrophobic.

The Mercure Hotel is situated right next to Le Cite with it's photogenic narrow streets and quaint old buildings . An excellent location without actually staying in the old town, where hotels charge a premium. It also has the advantage of free parking. Service was warm and friendly, the room clean and in good decorative order. We had dinner in...

Booking and reception were efficient and friendly. The rooms wre of a reasonable size and as described. The restaurant was pleasant and very good value for money, especially breakfast. The bar was a little bleak and it was a shame that no-one kept a good fire going - it makes such a difference at a cold time of year. It...

First off, this is a very basic three star hotel -- if you want something more plush, try the Hotel de la Cite (owned by Orient Express) but for a basic weekend getaway, the Mecure was not a bad choice. I had a standard room which had wonderful heated floors. In fact the room was so well heated in January...

We had 4 rooms booked at this hotel - and arrived at 1.15 to be told no rooms were ready, even though we had on our booking confirmation that check in was 12.00pm. We were told the hotel was full and it was housekeeping's problem. After half an hour one room was made available to us. Breakfast at the weekend...

Super hotel, super location, great food and staff. Down side (of my own doing really) I thought the cost include breakfast ...duh! Ended up with an extra nearly £150 to pay. Bit upset with that - but the breakfast was good, I have to say. Had I known it was extra I would have either eaten more or gone into...
