Nice hotel. Can't beat the location right at the entrance to the walled city so everything is within walking distance. Ample easy to access parking. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean with fresh linens . Our room had robes, slippers and lots of toiletries.

It is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is just in front of the medieval castle, and having dinner looking at it is just one of a kind experience. The room is very big and very well designed. One thing that made my stay there very special was two different gests: a cat and a dog. They were very...

My wife and I, and my father thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Each room has a unique flavor. The interior designer and architects did really outstanding jobs. The attention to detail in the design, fit and finish and execution are exceptional. The rooms are small-ish but so well designed that one never feels cramped. The one very peculiar design choice (very...

Cold floors, plastic flowers and on request a poor bathrobe We taked the more expensive link of room and was disappointing for more than 145 euros/night There is not enough room to shower without banging your elbows

The location of the hotel is brilliant, but frankly, for 200 Swiss francs we were somewhat disappointed. We were in one of the annex rooms across from the pool/jacuzzi (room 19), which was too small to swing a cat in! There was nowhere to put our one suitcase down on the floor, which meant we had to step right over...

Cozy hotel with average rooms. The best part is the location, it is perfect. The breakfast is great, full of local food. Pet friendly, have its own dog and cat. Recommendable but slightly expensive. Enjoy

Hotel du Chateau offers spa service, meals, relaxing outdoor pool and evening areas. We entered our suite by private courtyard entrance. Parking easy. Walk to castle just across the quiet street. Love this hotel. Take time to enjoy spa treatments at the spa and in-room.

The Hotel du Chateau is literally across the street from the walled medieval city of Carcassonne. The staff are friendly and professional and speak perfect English (even though we wanted to practice our French). The rooms are immaculate and the food and service are excellent. The house basset hound Elliot is also totally charming. We had a wonderful and memorable...

This hotel is in the most fabulous location and has well kept grounds. However as a seasoned traveller , I must admit there were a few niggles that we didn't care for very much. The room which was a suite, is not what we know as a suite and to be honest we have stayed in larger deluxe rooms. It...

We flew to Toulouse and rented a car to start our vacation in France booking this hotel for our first night. We had a difficult time finding it since it was dark by the time we reached the city and the hotel is so close to the Castle - across the road! The rooms are small but beautifully appointed and...
