This hotel is a beautifully refurbished 18th-century chateau, alongside a small river in picturesque surroundings. Upon arrival and throughout our stay, the staff was very friendly and insisted to bring the luggage to our 2 very spacious 'rooms'. Welcome gifts were a small home-made cake and home-made lemonade. Each rooms consisted of a spacious ground floor with nicely decorated 'French...

This essentially pastiche chateau near Luneville, a historically important small town which has fallen upon very hard times, as has the entire province of Lorraine, was a happy surprise. We chose it by default as the region does not offer many top hotel options. We were given rooms in the chateau itself (of which there are but few) rather than...

This is our second stay. Having tried other contemporary places, this is definitely the best. The rooms, attention to detail, totally fantastic food, (you must have the breakfast) and the impeccable staff, make this a firm favourite.

About 5 hours drive from Calais. This luxury hotel has everything you could possibly want, excellent staff, luxury rooms - reasonably priced - and a heated swimming pool. The restaurant, while expensive, is worth every penny. Family owned and run gives it that personal touch missing in so many hotels today.

We stayed there for one night on our way down to the south of France and it was great discovery. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful park so it's perfectly calm and quiet (there are train tracks nearby but it wasn't disturbing). We arrived on Friday evening just in time for dinner and since the evening was nice and...

The Château lies in a working farm which is quite noticeable when you drive up to it as there is a big pile of silage in the farm area. Once you get over that the hotel is quite lovely. The rooms are fine with nice views to the grounds but the WiFi connection was terrible, in fact non existent in...

Stayed here for one night in April 2016. Very friendly welcome, large and comfortable room, amazing dinner, great breakfast - everything was perfect from start to finish. We will definitely return here in the future, if the opportunity will present iself.

More of a destination hotel than stopover accommodation, sadly we only had one night in this lovely establishment. The welcome could not have been warmer and nothing was too much trouble. The receptionist simply wouldn't countenance our carrying our own bags! The restaurant was clearly very popular but we'd eaten earlier so just wanted tea and coffee before retiring. These...

Upon driving into the fairy tale like grounds we were initially confused as to where we needed to check in. That is where the adventure began--a lovely woman came running out of the main building with our keys in hand, ready to show us to our room. No formal check in required. In fact she was so lovely, taking our...
