Very relaxing place to stay. James was very knowledgeable about the area, and what to see and do. With his help we sorted our agenda out for our day of departure to take in Pech Merle caves with original cave paintings. Had yummy warm croissants for breakfast with nice coffee. Would stay again.

This beautiful old building, with its quirky characteristics is a great place to stay and is in a great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of Rocamadour. We were made to feel very welcome and at home during our stay. We learned a lot about the local area. The accommodation was practical and clean, the meals were... More

We had a lovely time and were particularly impressed with the attention to detail. This made our stay so enjoyable and memorable for our children who loved the food, drinks and playing with the dogs. I woke to the smell of freshly baked bread and cakes - perfect! Thank you.

James made us very welcome. Our room was lovely, it had a nice sofa and small table, large comfortable bed and ensuite. The extras in the room included tea and coffee making, hairdryer and iron with ironing board. Free wifi was available The property is just a short distance to Rocamadour and the restaurant recommendation was excellent. Breakfast was continental... More

We only spent one night in James Iddon’s B&B. The four of us (two adults and two children) occupied the Suite Tournesol. The two bedrooms are rustic with beautiful floorboards, clean, and equipped with good matrasses. The bathroom is up to today’s standards; and so is the access to modern world with free WIFI. James is a great host. Breakfast... More

Our family of four stayed for one night at La Noyeraie in July 2015. It was simply amazing--a highlight of our two weeks in the area. James, the proprietor, was a delight from the first interaction with him over email to our last goodbye. We highly recommend having dinner. James served an amazing duck confit with veggies and potatoes grown... More

We stayed at La Noyeraie for two nights as part of a cycling trip in Southern France. Located an easy 3 kilometers from Rocamadour, we appreciated the quiet, beautiful property located in a walnut orchard. The restored farmhouse is comfortable but not fancy. The nearby busy highway did not bother us. As noted in previous reviews the proprietor James is... More

This tiny Hotel is just wow! We (family with two kids) stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. It is a 140 years old farm house with a very huge garden, which has been completely refurbished 5 years ago by James (the owner). It is so cosy that we felt very quickly like at home. James is really kind, he... More
