Stayed in this hotel as part of a coach holiday - this review is about the part of the hotel inside the medieval wall. Firstly you have to realise that this is a very old building and there is a limit with what can be done with such a building in a very narrow street. The staff were friendly and...

Stayed here for two nights as part of a coach holiday..The location of this hotel is what it is all about and nothing much else, except that it may have been built by elves. My room on the 3rd floor was just bigger than one in a Wendy house and was quite decrepid with cracked walls, ancient bedding and a T.V. so...

Stayed here twice, in 2014 and earlier this month. Stayed in the original building. Both times had lovely rooms, small but well equipped overlooking the little main street. It wasn't noisy and great to look out at what's going on. Restaurant is very good, had no complaints at all about breakfast or evening meal. The owners, Sally and Manou are...

This hotel is s serial affair. The reception is in one building, the restaurant across the street and the room in a building down the block.. Our room was cozy, nicely decorated with a plac for everything and everything in its place -minimal, modern and sweet. The view of the canyon wall -breeze included - is wonderful. It overlooks the...

Although this is quite a nice hotel, we stayed in the older part inside the medieval village. It is shown on Google as 3 - 3.5 star, the sign outside says 2 star which is what I would personally say it is. The plumbing is very noisy and I would suggest thay maybe some soundproofing of the bathroom is introduced...

Fabulous location! Right at the beginning of the medieval city. The staff was prompt to answer questions and even called to check that we were okay when we hadn't arrived yet. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic! Since it's right on the main street, it could be a little noisy at night, but not for long. The...

We stayed two nights in this hotel as part of a coach tour. It is basically very old but has all modern amenities. village itself is a bustling and noisystreet on the side of a hill but went quiet in the evening givving a quiet night and a good night's sleep in the well sized clean room. The meals were...

Firstly I must emphasise that this hotel is in several parts. One part, the newest, is just outside the gateway to the medieval village. The older part, and the part that this review is about, is just inside the 13thC gateway with the restaurant is just across the narrow street directly opposite. I stayed, with my wife, whilst on an...

A coach load of tourists took priority here before the other clients. Good choice of menu, plenty of different Duck dishes if you like it, it is typical in the area, slow service, tasty food and large portions. Nothing special really though. Price average.

We have just spent a week walking the dordogne region. The hotels included were rated 2 and 3 star. Our expectations were not high. However, as the week progressed we became more and more pleased with the standard of the hotels. Our agent had advised that we would be very happy with our final stay. One cannot argue with the...
