Thank you foroffering me the possibility to rest for a short night! I arrived shortly after the owners went to bed at 23h30 but they still offered me the possibility for rent a room for the night! Thenks

We ate in the restaurant at this Logis - we were hard pressed to persuade them that 8.30 wasn't too late to come in for a meal. While as an avid foodie I accept my standards are high, the meal heralded an all time low on my eating out radar. We opted for the 28.50 euro menu, chosen from grubby...

This was our third stay at the hotel. The hotel's been renovated and it's really comfortable. The floors are cushioned, the rooms ample, plenty of space in the bathroom. Our balcony overlooked the Ariege River, with views of the town and valley. Not sure if we've had a nicer room in all years of visiting France. Excellent cassoulet and azinat,...

Our group had reserved the proper number of rooms, we confirmed them, and yet when we arrived we were one room short. Two of us had to double up when we were interested in staying in the room singly. Nevertheless, we made it work. There were evidently 2 other large groups staying at the same time, and I believe this...

As our title suggests, the menus offer typical fare found in Logis - reasonably priced, rarely gourmet, but always acceptable (something not too often found in Tarascon sur Ariege). However, be aware that unless you like your meat served half way between raw and rare, you must tell the waiter of your preference - so brush up on your French...

Very warm welcome good comfortable room with great view. Nice meal and very helpful staff although maybe M and Mme should head to a well earned retirement! Lift a great bonus with two weeks luggage and otherwise narrow stairs. Easy to park safely in the road right outside the front door!

Be prepared to brush up on your French if you stay here, nary an English speaker in sight or earshot, My basic French did manage to get us a room for the night, a secure lock up for the bicycle and dinner and breakfast. The room had a balcony and a lovely view of the river, town and mountains. It...

We visited the charming village of Tarascon in April on our way up the Pyrenhees from Toulouse, to visit the nearby (famous) caves. We made the mistake of booking a hotel in Tarascon sur Provence, not Tarascon sur Ariege. The stationmaster was very helpful; printing off a list of hotels in Tarascon and we phoned the Poste. Tarascon is a...

After our initial first impression of the restaurant (bright, light space above the river) we were disappointed, from then onwards; poor, unfriendly service, substandard food. We choose different main courses, and all but the lamb chops were small portions of mediocre food, which was not even hot. The dessert of apples baked in honey was, again, cold on one side,...

We stayed here overnight to visit nearby caves. Very Funny experience. Typical French Shabby chic hotel. We had triple room and size of room was good, sheets clean, bathroom and decor outdated but for the money great value. We ate in the restaurant. The waiter and waitress took our order and forgot the bring the wine. Service was slow and...
