We spent two nights at this hotel, and enjoyed virtually everything about it. Our room was spacious and well appointed; the bar is comfortable, with good service; the breakfast buffet was very good; and of course the location in the heart of Toulouse is excellent. We tried room service once, and became frustrated because the kitchen couldn't seem to understand...

The Grand Hotel de L'Opera is all you would expect from a top rate hotel. Smart professional staff, beautiful, comfortable rooms and also our room was exceptionally quiet, for a city centre hotel. The only downside was that on arrival, we were told that my card had been refused on booking and that the booking had been annulled. We could...

Stayed for a couple of days on our way to Lourdes. Landed at Toulouse airport so we took time out to see the sights. Busy on Saturday and plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, but beware Sunday is the opposite, no shops are open and little choice in restaurants and the bars that are open close at 9pm.

Dear Gary, We thank you very much for the comment you have left on Tripadvisor and are glad to hear that you took time to discover Toulouse. In fact the city center is always very busy on Saturdays and like in almost all other cities in France shops are closed on Sundays. (only open before christmas and some other eventuel...

Situation in town center allows frequent trips without car usage. Calm room with confortable beds allows good sleeping. Perfect breakfast, various and quality. Problem is when you use your car, no specific parking available.

I loved this hotel. The hallways, stairways, doors are beginning to look a little used and dated, but overall this is a great hotel with excellent service and in a fabulous location. The staff were warm and friendly. And the room was very comfortable, even luxurious -- and spacious. This was my arrival hotel after my long journey from the...

On 5 October I stayed in the hotel for one night and this was one of the worst hotel experiences that I have ever had. First I need to tell you that room 311 needs to be sprayed for bed bugs. A little over 24 hours after sleeping in the room my upper body was covered in bed bug bites...

Dear guest, First of all we would like to appologize that your stay did not meet your expectations. But we inform you that there are no bed-hugs in the room 311. If there would have been some you would have been bitten immediately and not 24 hours after. We have checked the entire room and there is no problema, we...

Toulouse was a delicious experience of the senses and this hotel was an essential part of it. Whether hanging out on the balcony above the marketplace or in the sunshine in the courtyard of the hotel or the outside part of the brasserie or the lovely breakfast (well-known as the best in the city), this was the quintessential French experience....

This hotel is right in the middle of the main square and is ideally situated for walking to all the main sights in Toulouse. There are some lovely shops close by and it was great to be so central in such opulent surroundings. The room itself was spacious, had all mod cons, was lavishly decorated and very comfortable. Even though...

Beautifully decorated bedroom that is spacious enough for such a central hotel. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. I love this hotel as it is much more charming than your standard city hotel.
