Located in the Place du Capitole, this hotel is central and convenient to many restaurants and sites in Toulouse. This is an older property that has been refurbished to much of its old glory. However it does have some quirks which are caused by the structure. For example, when you take the elevator and exit at your floor, you probably...

The Grand Hotel de l'Opera was lovely. Only one night in Toulouse and staying in this hotel was not enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. Arriving early in the morning, unfortunately we were not able to get into our room as soon as we would have liked, however as we were departing EARLY in the morning the staff upgraded...

Dear Linda, On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank you for your positive feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed your room overlooking the Capitole Square and friendliness of our staff. The hotel is actually very busy so unfortunately it is difficult to provide rooms before official check-in time. We are looking forward welcoming you soon...

We had a 3 night stay at Hotel de L'Opera and had the most wonderful short break. The hotel was very easy to find after a short transfer from the airport via tram and underground. This was great fun and we felt like we were on a little adventure and for only 1.60 euros. The city is breathtaking and we...

The hotel itself was very nice and luxurious with a great location. My room however wasn't great. I think they may have given me a lower end room because I paid a much lower daily rate by booking through Trip Advisor. My room was in a different tower seperate from the hotel, up 3 flights of a windy staircase without...

Dear Murray, Thank you for your detailed feedback concerning your stay. I am very sorry to read that you have not been that happy with the choice of your room. As far as I understand you had the room called Puccini which is indeed accessible with a tiny staircase and seperate from the main building of the hotel. This room...

This hotel did cost more than we usually pay but it was definitely worth it for the location and the sense of luxury. It's bang in the middle of this beautiful town with a Michelin starred restaurant on site and a great brasserie attached.

My sister in law from NZ found this hotel as the start to our holiday before setting off on the Canal du Midi. It is very well placed right in the main square. We arrived a bit earlier than check in after an earlier start, but luckily our room was ready so we were taken up straight away. The room...

Coming off an international flight with a connection at CDG, we were as tired and ready for comfort as I imagined we would be. Fortunately this hotel is welcoming and perfect for relaxation even though bang in the center of town. As requested, our room was utterly quiet, very comfortable and quite large. (Deluxe). The staff was always ready to...

We were made to feel most welcome from the second we walked through the door. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was huge, with two wardrobes and the decor was very oppulant. Great bathroom and shower. The public areas were very grand, a lovely historic and traditional hotel in the center of Toulouse.

It's a lovely place to stay and you can't beat the location. Parking is public, and expensive, 26€ a day, underneath the Capitole square. Park your own car as you'll never find it otherwise...there must be 4000+ spaces down there! Hotel has only 50 rooms so not gargantuan and is traditionally opulent, red velvet walls etc. Beds are comfortable and...

Fantastic staff, with quiet rooms on the sides of building. I can recommend room 267 but it's up a spiral staircase. There is a mini bar with champagne and drinks so maybe have a drink in the bar then celebrate in your room. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Best night sleep ever and spacious rooms too. Opulent!!
