I returned to the Hotel Heliot because it is central, relaxed, clean and good value at about €75/night. The rooms are large and wifi worked well on my laptop and phone. The front door is secure since entry is by fingerprint technology which seemed to work well (you sometimes have to hold your finger for a few seconds). Breakfast is...

We stayed 2 nights. I chose the Heliot based on good comments about the hotel and owner. Good room but there are some BUTS! Good points:The Heliot is a 2 stars rating hotel. Should perhaps be rated as a 3 stars. Young owner of the hotel has been in business for approx 11 years. The building has been renovated with...

Both sides of the coin! I am very happy to read that at least the hotel is a safe bet. And this is the result of my work. I'm really sorry you're hurt, but I just want that everyone staying with us have a quiet stay, there are rules to follow. Indeed, when a client slams the door each time...

Small hotel but decent sized rooms, wouldn't recommend breakfast, just walk 5 minutes to get to a boulangerie instead. Great location just off Allées Jean Jaurès, which means you're right where you need to be. Just right for the price.

A small family run easily accessible hotel perfectly positioned and within walking distance of so much that this fine city has to offer. All the rooms were well decorated and well appointed. Whilst a lift would have been beneficial, the manager was always on hand to carry luggage.Excellent value for money and very attentive personal service.

Excellent hotel for family with decent sized suite with en-suite bathroom. Air conditioning was welcome as windows wouldn't open. Fairly newly refurbished rooms, exceptionally clean and well kept. Frederic was welcoming and very helpful. Hotel has a lovely feel and although not really luxurious in any way, had lots of personality and was superb value. Highly recommended.

Frederick the owner of this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful and always on hand. The position was great, not far from the covered market, restaurants, shops, airport shuttle stop etc. Be aware that there are 3 floors and no lift although Fred will help. There has been a recent refurb.

Our second visit Hotel Heliot again showed that this is a very suitable base for those staying in Toulouse for a few days wanting a quiet, central location. We were welcomed by the owner, Frederic, who as usual was very friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was comfortable, with a modern bathroom and was kept spotlessly clean,...

We found authentic warm French hospitality at this intimate hotel tucked into a quiet corner just beyond the hustle and bustle of Toulouse. It is a family run hotel complete with a cat named Heliot. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The breakfast is French. The hotelier is friendly, very helpful and has a wonderful sense of humor as...

I stayed here with my grandmother on February of 2014. It was definitely one of the best hotels we stayed in in our whole trip, the owner is the most charming person and he helped us a lot by giving us advice on where to eat, where to visit, things to do... He made our two day stay in Toulouse...
