We stayed here last week for three days. The town of Bayeux is beautiful. It's so quaint. Loaded with restaurants and cafes and history. It's the perfect location for getting to some awesome sites. The Hotel Churchill is very nice. We were very excited to stay here as Rick Steves had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. It...

My husband and I spent a few days at the hotel in conjunction with our D-Day tours. There were many Americans at the hotel, which is not necessarily bad, but expect to hear a lot of English and see a lot of iPads. Our room was toward the front of the hotel, on the street side. Contrary to the information...

First thing to comment on here is the fantastic service provided by Josiane. My partner took ill during our 2 night stay and needed to spend the day in the hotel room. Josiane arranged for my partner to visit an english speaking doctor within walking distance of the hotel and also assisted with some food for lunch. Bottom line is...

The hotel seemed fairly basic to me, just room, no minibar or a/c. There is a supermarket right on the main street by the hotel which is great. It was a bit noisy as well. When I needed help, the hotel leaks would pause but ultimately help me out. For example, the Internet in the lobby wasn't working and the...

We stayed at the Hotel Churchill and highly recommend it for location and service. Everyone at the Hotel goes the extra measure to make you feel comfortable and to offer advice about local attractions or dining options. We had hardly registered when, without being asked, two women employees hauled our quite heavy bags up the stairs. The room was on...

We stayed at the Churchill Hotel last week. Our family of four - including our two sons - ages 22 and 24, stayed there as part of a trip to London and France. We had a quad room with two twins and a Queen. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the bathroom was modern and appeared...

We spent two nights at this hotel and found it a fine place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the morning breakfast was great. The hotel is located very conveniently to the Tapestry, the Cathedral and War Museum. It was especially convenient to rendezvous with our Normandy tour guide. We stayed in the older part of the hotel....

My wife and I spent three enjoyable nights at the Churchill while touring the Normandy beaches. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and every staff member we encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful; even to the point of writing down specific instructions for negotiating the Metro system upon our return to Paris (we could still be riding it without those instructions)....
