This is a superb hotel opposite the cathedral and 3 minutes walk to the tapestry. The welcome was wonderful, rooms perfect and a good restaurant. Bayeux is an interesting town and a short drive to D-day landing beaches. Excellent D-day museums. Pleased with our choice and recommend to others.

I was given a room in the new annex across the street. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a balcony that looked on to quaint rooftops. The bathroom amenities were very basic. The hotel provided soap, shampoo and lotion made in China! I decided to use my own lotion and conditioner! My only real concern was the safety...

We stayed in one of the rooms in the annex, which is across the street from the mail hotel building. The hotel and room were superb. The room was located directly on a courtyard and as quiet as any room could be. Plus, the hotel was a great value for the price. If you're interested in seeing the D-Day sights,...

Small but very nice, clean rooms for a good price. The restaurant downstairs is great too! It's centrally located, within easy walking distance of the train station and all the major attractions in town. The staff all speak English and are very kind and helpful!

Wonderful location and modern room. Able to walk to the city center and enjoy an outdoor market. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Beautiful church across the street. The staff was helpful and informative. The hotel was able to honor our request for a later check out which allowed additional time for sight seeing. Really enjoyed this quaint city.

We stayed in one of Reine Mathilde's annex suites for several days in late October. Our suite was an excellent value for the area - we stayed at The Churchill on a trip two years ago. The bed was comfortable, bathroom well equipped, great location, and friendly staff. I highly recommend!

Check-in was less than 2 minutes. Rooms are in main building and in 2 adjacent buildings which have been renovated and modernized yet kept some of the old charm. We stayed at the 9-unit building across the street with gated, private courtyard. Half a block from main shopping street, 150 meters from the cathedral and 300 meters from tapestry museum....

We stayed for 3 nights in October, left for a few days travel and then returned for one more night. We had booked a regular room but on arrival decided to upgrade to a larger room across the street in their annex. The room was lovely, bright and very spacious and the bath was large with a great rainfall shower....

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was full of character and the staff were extremely helpful. Our room had a great view of the cathedral and the bathroom had been recently refurbished to a high standard. We had both evening meal and breakfast at the hotel and would thoroughly recommend eating there - the standard was excellent.
