A lovely little hotel, with delightful staff, clean and comfortable rooms at a great price. The hotel is in a part of town convenient to the cathedral, the Tapestry(not to be missed ) and located in proximity to the war memorials at Normandy. We enjoyed or night there very much and would recommend it to the budget traveler.

I am just getting ready to leave the hotel and have had a wonderful time here. The place is nothing fancy but prices are reasonable , people are friendly and location is great. It is also very clean and breakfast is good. I think you are getting good value for your money. The town of Bayeux is a must see,...

My husband and I recently spent two nights at Hotel Le Bayeux. It was a perfect home base to explore both the town and surrounding sites. We arrived on a Monday by train from Paris...checked out the cathedral, the tapestry, the British Cemetery, and the Normandy Museum- all are within walking distance from the Hotel. The gentleman working Monday evening...

The Hotel Le Bayeux is in a great location, a brisk walk from the train station, and close to both the cathedral and the Bayeux Tapestry Museum. It serves a nice buffet breakfast (with eggs and bacon) for €10, and the staff is nice. That's about it on the plus side. The room's wallpaper was right out of the early...

We arrived and our room wasn't quite ready for us by 3:00 pm, but they worked quickly to finish. There was a lingering smell of B.O. from the cleaning crew. This was easily remedied by opening the window. Our room and beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, friendly and spoke great English. The concierge even recommended...

Staff most friendly, competent, helpful. Arranged taxis and tours flawlessly. We intend on staying there again if and when we visit Bayeux again. The tour they arranged for us was Bayeux Shuttle Tours, and our tour guide Vincent was hands down the most knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had anywhere.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night while visiting Beyeux tapestry. The location is perfect, 5 min walk from the cathedral and museum with the tapestry. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a free parking nearby but you have to be lucky with the free spaces :) The room was good, clean, nothing special but for...

Reasonable location between the station and the town. Very close to Bayeux tapestry. Very welcoming staff. Wonderful comfy beds and a good breakfast for the price. Room was clean and had what we needed.

We took our disabled mother and the hotel could not have been more helpful. We had two ground floor rooms that worked well. There is no lift and the breakfast room is upstairs but we were able to collect breakfast and take it down to the room. Very central location but quiet and easy to park. Hotel staff were all...

We walked here from the train station. It is about 10-15 minutes and simple if you got directions before you got there. (Ding on me.) The owner was super accommodating. Told us where to buy wine and provided wine glasses for us and let us hang out in the breakfast room. She has travel books and movies on the area....
