We stayed here last night after getting the ferry into Caen and wanting somewhere to stay for the night before heading down to Southern France. The room was basic but clean and did the job for a quick stopover, although I wouldn't necessarily want to stay for more than a couple of nights. The only problem was that the shower... More

We paid for a Superior double studio. The carpet was filthy with very obvious signs on dog poo and vomit on the carpet. the bed was so uncomfortable even to sit on let alone sleep. the kitchenette which was supposed to be suitable for self catering breakfast and light meals was totally inadequate, no kettle, no toaster a coffee maker... This is very good budget hotel. Just stone throw away from tram station called Cities. From Cities one can take tram to railway station, which takes 25 minutes. Train can connect you to other cities and countries. The hotel staff is courteous. The on,y issue is the wifi connection which is weak. Better to buy your own am with mobile... More

Our family had three priorities in booking a hotel and Appart’City Caen met them all: We wanted space, cleanliness and for it to be as cheap as possible! Space: For our family, having the space to put our youngest to bed and still continue our evening was important. We booked the ‘Superior’ Family Room and we were surprised to have... More

We stayed 3 nights at this apartment hotel, which is situated in a quiet university area about 7 minutes (by tram) from the city center Caen. The hotel was quiet, room simple and a little bit worn out. Personnel was helpful and friendly. Nearest tram stop a minute's walk away and a reasonable restaurant about 4 minutes walk away. Breakfast... More

Had a quiet night in a surprisingly well equipped room, with the kind of basic amenities more expensive hotels tend to not have anymore. Desk service is among the best I have seen, very efficient staff. It lacks some simple things like a vending machine given the bare neighborhood. Breakfast is decent but in a very small and overcrowded room.... More

I booked 2 months in advance a 5 nights stay at this hotel. The reservation was confirmed and everything seemed ok. I got there on sunday evening and nobody was there. A nice guy saw us and told us the entrance code. Inside was a phone number for us to call to get a code for the safe box. We... More

Our stay was on a Sunday night. There are no staff present on weekends. I was provided with an email with 2 codes needed for entry and to obtain our room key. Neither worked correctly. Fortunately, there were individuals present who had checked in on prior days who opened the entry door for us and the safe door was left... More
