I stayed here for four nights with the ledger holidays battlefields tour and were very disappointed by the condition of the hotel and poor food I had The rooms are in need of a urgent update and bathroom with its green basin needs to go to Most of the staff I dealt with were not that accommodating even charging me... Stayed here as part of Leger holidays Normandy beaches trip for 3 nights. Clean, tidy, could do with a decorative make-over,a bit tired in bedrooms, shower etc. Breakfast(continental)was quite sufficient, evening meals were OK,good price at 16 euros for 3 courses. Although I would say 3/4 days would be long enough to stay here.

Stayed, like many other reviewers, as a participant on a Leger Battlefield Tour, so I was expecting a functional base to rest and eat after a long day on the road. This hotel met the needs of the visit very well. As regards the location, it is fine if you are there as part of a tour group but a... More

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a Leger d-day tour. The hotel is basic but then again you are not here for long as spent most of the day touring. The room was ok but pointless putting 2 single beds together as the are both on wheels and all you end up with is a gap forming between... More

We stayed here prior to our 08.30 sailing on Brittany Ferries to Portsmouth. It's situated away from the city centre and right next door to a very large hospital. There is a tram to the centre that virtually passes the door. The room was fine: clean and comfortable and the bathroom was OK too. The only problem we encountered was... More

Well wouldn't want to stay more that a few nights.... Bedrooms are very small and bathroom smelt of urine. Shower head needed a clean too. Only one plug socket that was loose made it difficult to charge anything because it wouldn't connect unless you wriggled it! Bar very small and only one person to serve both bar and reception prices... More

We stayed here as a family as a stop over from the ferry. Friendly staff and comfy beds. We will stay here again but we would like to see some more updates to the rooms as they are in need of modernization.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel and found the Reception/Bar and Restaurant to be very modern and clean. All the staff were very helpful and polite. We were on a Bed/Breakfast & Evening meal package and found the food to be very good. We were allocated a room on the second floor. When exiting... More

As with many others, visited for 3 days with Leger. Convenient location - access from north Caen. Easily navigated - Just get to the Hospital, visible from just about all Normandy - yes it's the HUGE concrete block. Hotel has good parking. Not a pretty neighbourhood, University accomodation blocks nearby. Not much to see. BUT very handy for the tram... More

Booked as part of a Leger Battlefield Tour package. It is a 2* hotel but overall is probably a bit above that. The rooms are smallish but were clean on arrival, and done daily. Towels/bedding were refreshed during the stay, and tea/coffee making facility was topped up each day. Yes it could have done with a 'lick of paint' but... More
