We chose this hotel as a place to stay for an overnight trip during a weekend in Cherbourg. What a great choice it was. Having taken the car over with us, parking was easy, right outside. The owners were the most friendly people you could meet. Straight away they made you feel welcome and at home. Very helpful with advice...

This is a lovely small boutique hotel, it's a short walk from the centre (about 5min). The hotel is well decorated and the owners are a friendly couple who could not be more helpful and welcoming. The rooms are cosy and very pleasant. I stayed with a friend as we were cycling through Normandy. I would happily return to this...

Chosen as a simple stop a after the ferry. Clean, comfortable bed ensuite and a lovely view. Nice and quite too. Breakfast excellent but was extra which I forgot to check on arrival. However it was fresh and home made yogurt and jams made up for that.

My father and I stayed in the Chimene Hotel in Cherbourg for 5 nights whilst my mother was recovering from surgery at the nearby Louis Pasteur Hospital. What could have been a very stressful situation was made far easier by our stay in this quaint and comfortable hotel, and being so well looked after by the owners of the hotel,...

We booked a night away in this hotel and what a little gem it is. We were in room 5 which is a double room on the first floor. If you want a traditional hotel you won't be disappointed. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with a very comfortable bed and nice shower room. The owner and staff...

Stayed for one night after arriving in Cherbourg latish on a Sunday evening. Found the hotel easily, very close to the ferry. Very friendly owners, clean, comfortable, reasonable price, quiet, ideal for a one night stop over. Don't expect many places in the town to be open on a Sunday evening though.

I stayed here with my two sons and we had a very enjoyable night's rest. It's in a good position twixt the ferry port and the town. My room was small but the bed was very comfortable. No bells and whistles but perfectly adequate and reasonable value for money. The couple running the hotel were lovely and friendly.

We stayed here for 2nights, a couple with 2 toddlers. The room is very comfortable and clean, they have good quality towels and sheets and their baby cot and beddings are even better than the big hotel chains. We stayed in the family room on the ground floor and everybody slept well. Owners are very friendly and as this is...
