We stayed at Le Jardin des Plumes for one night last week -- the first night of our vacation in France. We thought that by staying in Giverny we could get to the Monet Gardens in the morning and beat the bus crowds from Paris....More

Beautiful setting with the most amazing Weeping Beech tree and ponds. Professional staff willing to help and make suggestions in the area. Rooms were quiet and well done. Breakfast was perfect. Great location and easy to find.

We took a train and then a taxi from the train station to Jardins de Plumes. Taxis didn't seem in large supply but I believe there was also a public bus that would get you near there but we had just missed it and didn't want to wait for the next one.
I bought our tickets in advance which was nice because we were able to go to a prepaid entrance and didn't have to wait in line!
The hotel was beautiful/very relaxing and we loved spending the night in the area as we had the most beautiful sunset that night and glad we didn't just go for the day and head back to Paris. It was a group of 4 and it was collectively one of all of our favorite days/night of our 10 day trip!
