Felt very welcome in this beautiful house. Very well located for attractions in Honfleur, a friendly, very attractive town. Owner of accommodation extremely helpful. Breakfast delicious and included home made local specialties each day. Garden a relaxing haven of peace. All in all, a really nice location.

5 of us occupied 3 of the rooms at Jane Laur. The rooms are individually decorated specific to a theme, and had obviously been thought about. The location is great. We were able to park on the road for free for the duration of our visit (although if that was not the case, Madame had secured us a parking space...

The hotel sits on top of a hill overlooking the very pretty town of Honfleur, it is typically French and beautifully furnished and decorated. Close enough to the town to walk into far enough away not to be bothered by noise. We had use of a well maintained garden which on sunny days a continental breakfast was served on the...

When we opened the front door and saw the lovely garden through the open doors on the other side of the house, I felt immediately relaxed after a long long drive. The family suite at the top of the house is super spacious as is the bathroom and the views of the river and hills very captivating. The decor is...

A bit late on this review. We traveled in 2013 and this was the best. The proprietor was very friendly as we humorously tried to communicate, her in French, me in English. The room we beautiful with many windows and cross ventilation. The breakfast we great and the outdoor patio dining setup made it impossible not to meet other travelers...

Honfleur being such a popular place, I didn't think it was still possible to find there such an amazing accommodation. The house is absolutely amazing with a very lovely garden. Location wise, it is perfect: in the center of the village, 5mns away from the most touristic area. We stayed there 2 nights and rented 3 rooms. The rooms were...

I travelled with my wife and 2 friends, Brian & Jan. We arrived to a very warm welcome from 'Madame'. She was very easy to get along with especially if you took the trouble to speak a little French. We went to our room on the second floor overlooking the rear garden. The room was large with en-suite facilities and...

Janine couldn't have been more welcoming and her pleasure in having guests is so evident from her beautifully decorated rooms(we had the "romantic" room 1 flight up) to her very good breakfast, including freshly baked sweet bread, fresh raspberries, ham, cheeses, croissants, juices, and more. While Janine's English and our French is limited, we communicated pretty will with the use...

We had a great stay here. We were in the "Romantic" room which was enormous and had a huge bathroom too and was immaculately clean. Our bathroom had a shower attachment with the bath but nowhere to hang it so you had to use it by hand. I'd normally be annoyed by this but as everything else about the place...

At Madame Janine home. That was my feeling. Staying in the house of a friend in a small charming countryside French village. Eating breakfast made by herself, having cider in the courtyard, while chatting. Don't expect luxury, or a great hotel, but be sure to have the warm of a home. You can park in front of the hotel. You...
