We had a fabulous time in Honfleur and the hotel location, comfort and service was perfect. The hotel is very quaint and French. There is a lovely room with a large fireplace opposition reception where you can enjoy tea and coffee in the afternoon. Typical French breakfast with cheese, ham, baguette croissants fruit and cereal. The main hotel reception is... More

We loved our harbor view room in the hotel annex. Lovely large room and bathroom. It was a little difficult to find; check in is at the main hotel across the street. Parking is available, there are also public lots that are less expensive and a short walk away. In the summer, the breakfast room is hot and humid; despite... More

Plenty of space, separated toilet, shower room and bathtub. Table and arm chair in the room, enough plugs for all your gizmos and gadgets. Garage is a 10 min walk but there is a cheaper parking at the promenade, nearer the hotel. This is pick and span, according to my Mom (she is a doctor, not easy to please). Comfy,... More

The staff were friendly and willing to assist at all times. The restaurant was extraordinary for dinner. Fantastic food and a good price. The breakfast was in a comfortable room with beautiful china. Loved the outlook of our superior room which was large and spacious. No iron in the room but they found me one. Modern interiors which teamed well... More

Fantastic location right on the waterfront, that is, if you have a room not at the hotel itself. We had the choice ... and it was great! Clean room, fantastic view. Staff is VERY friendly and the breakfast is good

We were greeted warmly and shown to a table out on the terrace, which was ideal on such a lovely warm day. We were given an amuse-bouche after ordering, of a gazpacho with sweet peppers, which was delightful. For 'entrée' we ordered poached egg with truffle cream sauce, terrine of foie gras as well as millifeuille of salmon. For 'plat'... More

We received 5 Star service from the staff of the L'Absinthe Hotel. They were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. We stayed in a Superior room one night and then a suite the second night. Both were very nice and spacious with great views of the harbor. We enjoyed their breakfasts and the lounge area.

Stayed one night here on the way home from our holiday. Pre booked a twin (confirmed) but they gave us a double. Small room nicely furnished. Good breakfast. Worth paying the additional cost to park your car in their private covered car park. it's much cheaper and safer than parking oin the municipal car park nearby
