This is the type of hotel for one night when all you need is a bed and aren't in need of a long relaxing shower. Everything was old and resonably clean but not spotless. The TV was minature, and wifi patchy and slow (bit better downstairs). Continental breakfast was mostly cereal, bread and croissants. The position is very handy to...

The hotel is next to the railway station and is a cheaper option in town. The owner was very friendly and seemed to be smiling all the time The room was a bit smallish and looked very worn and was not so clean. Breakfast was ok but nothing special, typical French The old town of Laon with the Cathedral lies...

This small and unpretentious hotel is right outside Laon station. The interior is rather stuffy and was uncomfortably humid on a warm day - but as it is an older building it was possible to deal with that by opening windows and shutters. Decor rather faded, but the wi-fi worked, the room was clean and (unlike the new chain hotel...

The money was stolen from the room.Won't recommend to stay there. If you can avoid this hotel, please do that.We went out to see the old town in the evening, and when we came back i missed my 160 pound what was left in a small tiny pocket of my bag. It is good i didn't notice it before i went...

Stayed here on Sunday night on the way back from a flying trip to Germany, having stayed here a few years ago. Must say that in the meantime they havn't spent any money on the place, but it was clean and comfortable. A peculiarity is that there is no key to the outside door & what wasn't explained that a...

We arrived late on our journey and were really pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome and the quirky old hotel. It has seen better days, but somehow adds to its charm, original shabby chic! It's very clean and comfortable and the owner friendly and helpful. We changed our stopover on way back to stay here as enjoyed friendly beer in...

Hotel conveniently situated in new town close to rail and bus services. Car users be very aware of dodgy car park! Breakfast the best we had in our three week tour through France with magnificent croissants and well ranged buffet style.. Friendly staff very helpful. Would only accept cash payment even though says cards accepted which was a downer on...

Having read all the other reviews, I think they are all a good reflection of the place. It is well located, and the owner directed us inside the car park. However, as we only used our car in daylight hours, we didn't consider the car park dangerous. The room was clean, yet simply furnished, and the breakfast room delightful. Breakfast...

I would caution anyone staying at this hotel and travelling by car to avoid the extremely dangerous car park at the rear of the hotel. We stayed here and ended up with one of the front wheels of our vehicle over an unmarked, unlit and unbarricaded concrete ditch between the car park and the wall of the hotel. The owner...

The hotel was very convenient, near station and restaurants and opposite the funicular station (POMA) where a tram could be caught up to the pretty cathedral and higher medieval settlement on the hill. The rooms had been decorated in an enthusiastic, amateur way which was very attractive and lived up to its artisan-style name. The bathroom was very primitive but...
