This is a hotel that has clearly been 'grand' in its heyday & the downstairs still retains many period pieces and a sense of charm & elegance.
But bedrooms now are looking a little tired and old. That said, bed linen, toilet etc were spotlessly...More
Room offered had no curtains because they had been pulled down by a previous guest, mould on ceiling above window, there was a stale smell around the bed. The bathroom was very out dated. There were two flights of stairs and no help with cases.
We spent a night here and thankfully no longer.
The hotel has a great location to visit this wonderful town but it badly needs a face lift.
