We stayed in one of the "chapel" rooms - which were split over two levels, and had the original architectural features of the chapel from which they had been created. A comfortable and enjoyable one-night stay in an interesting hotel - and close to the centre.

Very enjoyable stay here for six nights. An excellent centre for the old town and easy access to the railway for day trips out into the other cities around about. We had a twin room in the two storey section. With double glazed windows and thick doors we had almost absolute quiet despite being in a busy area with lots...

We stayed one night in the Mercure Hotel, a cleverly repurposed ancient church, for our first night’s stay in France. Our top floor room was a 2-story accommodation with bed upstairs and the bathroom and sitting area on the lower level. The multi-bricked church ceiling provided an interesting pattern above us, and we had half of a circular window (with...

The hotel was lovely; in a historic and quiet part of the old town. Parking in the public garage down the street is very easy; do not be concerned about this. You can unload and load your car easily. We did a superior room in the ancient chapel and it was lovely and a good deal for 90 euros. We...

The transformation of an old seminary to a modern hotel with all facilities has been completed in an exemplary manner. The thick old walls have been tastefully incorporated into the design of the spacious rooms. The breakfast is a bit expensive EUR16 per person but was a notch up from a pure continental.

Very nice rooms with an unusual layout the shower being near the window . The toilet cubicle was at the other end of the room so more privacy than in a normal layout. The bed was really good and the room well soundproofed. The staff were very helpful .You could not park at the hotel however but the parking was...

OK, bad pun, but the church turned hotel was great! Good sized, quiet room with huge bathroom and AC, once you figure out how to make it work...red light on is working (fan is so quiet it was hard to tell)! Silly Americans expected green for go and red for off. It was the perfect lesson to learn at our...

This hotel is is in a very unusual building and it is worth a look inside just to see it and the architectural details from the old church. We had the standard room which was a basic chain hotel room, but satisfactory. If I had been on a romantic trip, not a "family trip" I might have booked one of...

A 2 week stay on business and loved every moment of it. Staff very helpful, restaurant a delight, location perfect and (nearby) parking pleantyfull. My 5th floor room was light and bright and for a single traveller the lack of bathroom door not an issue. I though the conversion of the church a little too aggressive with the soul of...
