Was recommended as a restaurant, but was disappointed at the food and service, ordered a local dish, which had clearly ben left standing for quite a while, vegetables were tasteless, courses came at odd times, can't say I would recommend at all.

We stayed in Room No.8 - Pavillon de Campagne and we had a perfect stay. The suite itself was absolutely stunning, attention to detail with regards to decoration, comfort and cleanliness. If you like antique styling, you will be in heaven. This suite is situated at the back of the courtyard so it was reasonably quiet. It's a very busy...

We stayed at Bastide du Cours for 4 nights and loved it! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a terrace overlooking a quaint courtyard. Fabulous location close to everything there is to enjoy in Aix-en-Provence. The hotel is small...about 9 rooms...located behind a restaurant. Service was fabulous. We were disappointed that contrary to what the other reviews stated,...

Myself and a colleague were staying in the area and decided to stay at this hotel. It is located right behind a restaurant, and shares space with it. The hotel is composed of various sized rooms around a cobblestone courtyard; I had a room with a litle balcony. My room was relatively big, and the bathroom even bigger. When I...

Picked hotel for location and from pictures of rooms on website. Was not disappointed in room. It was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean and well-appointed. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was fine. Ask for Francois, Virginia, or Od - great servers and very pleasant. If I owned this hotel, I would...

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! Nasty, arrogant, snarly desk personnel refused to give us the room we had reserved saying that we never reserved it, made us exit the hotel through the side door as they would not give us the code for opening the door to the reception area (no lobby), gave us a...

Hotel has an outstanding location at beautiful Cours Mirabeau, very convenient for visiting Aix. Since we were three, we stayed in a ground level suite (Fleurs et Papillons) - suite was very nicely decorated and very comfortable for three people, with two modern, well equipped bathrooms. However, suite had no windows, so this was somewhat of a con. Since hotel...

As stated previously, the Bastide du Cours (Hotel) seems to be an afterthought of whoever owns the restaurant. Do not expect concierge service or even to find anyone at the front desk. The rooms are well appointed and we were graciously reaccommodated (at no additional charge) into a ground level suite (Fleurs et Papillons) when it became evident that my...

Our daughter is studying in Aix and we visited her for a long weekend. She helped us choose the hotel and we were not disappointed, though we would have been with other choices of hotels in the city. It was perfectly located. Bastide du Cours is more a restaurant with rooms than a hotel. The rooms are a new addition...
