I am a professional photographer and interpreter, and I would just like to share my experience working with Eric Vedel, at his cooking workshop. I loved it, and so did the American family of 4, who had great fun (and pictures to remember). Eric Vedel is one of the best cooks I ever met (and I live in NYC, I... More

When we arrived Erik Vedel took us to the open market where we followed him as he bought food. No explanations or commentary as he doesn't speak English. Back at the school his assistant ,who spoke a little English was there. We paid and were ushered into the kitchen, a dingy basement room with no windows. Then bad came to worse.... More

We had a cooking class planned. A trip to the market was to proceed the class. We were not pleased with the cooking facility. It was not the clean kitchen we had in mind. The chef did not speak English but had an interpreter present. We expressed our feelings and begged off. We were a party of 6 and never... More

My wife and I stayed here for two days. Erik is a wonderful and friendly host. The morning breakfasts were quite good as well. The room we stayed is is a bit... rustic... for lack of a better word. The pictures on their website are accurate but did make our room look a bit better than it actually was. It... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and spent 3 days in Arles. The location is really nice. You'll be right near all the major sites, There is also close parking available at a lot near the library. We did a morning cooking class with Erick. We made some very traditional country dishes that were delicious. We ate with his family... More

For our annual spring break trip to France, this year I took my eighth graders to Paris and then to Arles. The girls and I stayed at Erick Vedel's bed and breakfast and the boys stayed at a hotel close by. The boys were jealous because they said it always smelled good at our place! Chef Vedel gave a lunch... More

We were two couples, traveling in France and we enjoyed six nights at the CuisineProvencal in Arles, France. This charming B&B is actually a cooking school that has accommodations for students; when the school is not in session, other visitors to Arles are welcome to stay.Cuisine Provencal is located in the old Roman part of Arles. We entered through the... More
