Great peaceful place to relax but also really close to the attractions. Very good pool layout with free coffee everywhere and most days homemade cake The breakfast was excellent with the best local goats cheese I have ever tasted, homemade jams, eggs done to order etc. Also one of the quietest air conditioning units in our room which was a welcome change.

This is a beautiful house, clean and spacious rooms, lovely gardens and pool area. The breakfast is very good and the host was very helpful, making recommendations for places to visit and eat. The location is outside of Avignon, it is necessary to drive or get taxis to restaurants. Guests are given access to the kitchen area, lounge and terrace but these cannot be used after 10pm, which meant it wasn’t possible to sit out and have a drink on the terrace later in the evening which was a shame.

The location is in the country, about 5 kms from Avignon, perfect for cyclists like us, but otherwise a car is necessary. The house is beautifully decorated, our room was large and comfortable. There is a pleasant patio for afternoons in good weather. The breakfasts were excellent, even with eggs one day, a rarity in France.

Letitia, the host, rules! This was a highlight of our dream European vacation. Immaculately clean, conveniently located (Old City of Avignon, beautiful quintessential Provence lavender fields, and many other sites that Letitia will happily guide you to), caring yet unobtrusive host. Letitia made us feel like family and was so helpful with suggested activities and recommendations. She even provided us with local maps and made dinner reservations for us at restaurants that we would never have found on our own. The pictures on the site don’t do it justice— her place is beautiful! And don’t skip the breakfast! (That would be a huge mistake!)

Stayed at Bastide des Anges, Avignon with another couple while we visited Avignon. Wonderful house. Great to be in a country house rather than a faceless hotel. Laetitia was a great hostess, nothing was too much trouble for her guests! Loved all the 5 cats, especially, Voyu, a very, very friendly, loving cat! Breakfast was delicious with good selection as well. Would highly recommend this place to other travellers. It is outside of Avignon about 45 minute walk but taxis are easily found.
