We stayed for 3 nights in a spacious suite with extra room to lay out our luggage. Valerie was warm helpful and a gracious host. The location was close to Avignon and other sites in the area. Breakfast was delicious with fresh breads and homemade extras. Valerie helped us choose restaurants for dinner.

What a lovely experience! Le Mas de L'Ile was an excellent mix of hospitality and privacy. Valerie greeted us with warm handshakes upon arrival, recommended several restaurants for dinner, and showed us to our room. Each of the four rooms is named for a flower and has a private entrance. We stayed in the Poppy suite (2 rooms, with twin...

My family stayed at Le Mas de L'ile for a week in September. It was fantastic! Our hosts were absolutely lovely, shared their local knowledge freely, helping us with some advice on where to go and what to see. The property itself is gorgeous, the rooms very spacious and well maintained. The breakfast is great, with homemade yoghurt, preserves and...

A lovely spot on an island in Avignon. Very tranquil, yet 5-10 minutes by car to old city of Avignon. Hostess Valerie is super friendly and prepares a tasty breakfast that includes coffee, juice, croissants, pain au chocolat, baguette, homemade apple tart, yogurt, jams, fruit salad . Our room had its own little terrace.

The location was excellent, and our hosts even got up early on our departure day and gave us a breakfast to go! The room was very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the beautiful backyard and pool. We plan to return to this beautiful oasis!

This was a very nice B&B with immaculate rooms (we had a suite of two rooms which could accommodate four people). The breakfasts were amazing and the pool and general environment very nice indeed. It is convenient for Avignon via the free ferry (about 15 minutes walk) or by parking on the other side of the bridge and taking a...

Visiting this beautiful region of Provence in early July was made extra special when we stayed with our BnB hosts Valerie and Laurent for one week. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room and surroundings were immaculate, the delicious breakfast was presented in typical French style with home baking, summer fruits, yoghurt and patisserie. As temperatures soared we enjoyed relaxing...

The Mas de l'ile is down a small lane in the centre of the island yet a three minute drive from the free ferry to the famous bridge and the entrance to the walled city and pope's palace which goes every 15 minutes or a slightly longer cycle ride on the bicycles that the owner can supply. The rooms are...

This B&B ranked at the top among B&Bs where we stayed on this three week trip in France. It is located in a secluded property on the Isle of Barthelasse in the Rhone River. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The swimming pool, tables and chairs for lounging, and the wonderful vine covered canopy where breakfast was served all...

Valerie was a warm, welcoming hostess. Her house was beautiful and the locationn was perfect - a short stroll to the free ferry which took us across the river to the stunning city of Avignon. The best of both worlds! Our room (lavender) was perfect with its own terrace, overlooking the pool. Breakfasts were wonderful with homemade jams and cakes...
