We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel is very good, the restaurant is a must. Located near major attractions and just across one of the old city doors. The long list of visitors is very interesting.Old trees (really old) in the gardens brings an atmosphere of intimacy. Enjoy a glass of wine under them.

This was a great experience! The hotel was clean, service awesome, lovely ambience. Stayed here three nights, walked everywhere easily from here. This is one place I would definitely return to. The breakfast was the only meal we ate in the hotel and it was fantastic! With options for everyone, continental, or full traditional. The hotel bar also has piano...

3 couples travelling from Australia... What a great place. Value for money and rooms to die for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and all commented on how great the rooms. The rooms were very spacious and so comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful

We stayed here a week in June and really enjoyed our stay. We were fortunate to have booked many months in advance and thus secured a room for approximately $260/night while the average room was well over $600.00. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. The desk staff were excellent and extremely helpful with arranging tours for us or for...

What a gorgeous place! Great location, service impeccable. The rooms are charming, well decorated, great air conditioning, super beds, wonderful towels and showers. Everone here is so helpful. The breakfast was so cheerful and satisfying. We are looking forward to dinner.

Avignon is the perfect base to explore La Provence - with easy access to the Camargue, Arles, or Aix en Provence. Yes, Avignon is a "touristy" city, but it is charming nevertheless, compact to get around in with great shopping and wonderful dinner experiences waiting. The Hotel Europe is an exceptionally well run hotel, in the prime Avignon location. The...

We enjoyed two days of luxury here, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Avignon. It's a very pretty hotel, with impeccable service. We had booked a couple of months in advance and were upgraded to a superior room, which oozed style. The whole place was hard to fault. We did baulk at the price of breakfast...

Enjoyed the location and charm of the hotel. As to our room, we were disappointed for a 5 star property. Our room was located off the courtyard and entered by a separate spiral staircase. The room was large, but the furnishings were tired. The carpet was stained and the hotel staff had to bring in a heater to make the...

We spent 5 nights at the hotel and wish we could have spent our last 3 nights in Avignon here but the hotel was booked the remainder of our stay. Staff were incredible, we were given a free room upgrade upon check in. The room was incredibly nice with ample size, decor, lighting, and bathroom with separate shower and bath....

We stayed at the Hotel d'Europe in a superior category room over 25 years ago. But at 395€ a night nowadays, this was out of our league. Thanks to the recommendation of a renown travel guide, we snagged one of the "classique" rooms at only 194€ a night for two nights. The room was quiet, as it overlooked a courtyard....
