Very Nice Place to stay in Avignon. Palace of the pope just a few min. to walk . Parking area next to the Hotel. Best place to stay with the family. Just try. Nothing could be better. Very easy to find.

Very convenient location just outside the city walls and handy for the train station. Very spacious room with generous bathroom and a French window to the garden. Pleasing decor. Excellent choice for breakfast.

Out of the many hundreds of reviews I have completed I have never given a bad review. Normally any issues can be sorted out with the hotel management who have some wish to provide a reasonable level of service. In this case, this hotel was appalling with no service ethos, and no access to management to discuss the issues with. The published description of what is provided to guests is completely misleading and wrong. - air-conditioning was not working in any of the rooms. It was so hot that windows and doors had to be left open which then let mosquitoes into the room. - there was no room service available without going to the front desk - when I became ill, there was no way of getting even a bottle of water or something to eat in the room without leaving the room - When I asked for an ironing board and iron, I was told to come and get it. This, even though I would have to have walked along two long corridors pushing three fire doors. - The pool is only open between 930am and 8.00 pm and on the only day when I was able to be in the hotel to use it it was half full. When I asked if it could be opened a little earlier in the morning, I was told no, although it is not staffed at any time - I had a room on the ground floor, which smelled of drains and other residents had problems with drain seepage in the room - The only toiletries, were a fixed bottle of shampoo and shower gel which could not be reached from the bath without getting fully out of the bath and crossing the bathroom floor. Not even a shower cap. - the fridge was completely empty apart from one small bottle of water on day one which wasn’t replenished - The television had no English speaking channels - There was no help available for luggage despite the fact it had to be taken through three heavy fire doors Complaints raised at reception achieved no results. This does not meet my expectations of a four-star standard hotel.

Disappointed by this hotel, well placed, but nothing more. Old crap, bad smelling rooms, low quality breakfast, bathroom badly maintained. Nice all, probably newly refurbished compared to the hotel itself. I can quote it as a average 3 stars hotel.

The hotel looks new and well maintained, however my superior room looked old. The cleaning was ok and the continental breakfast was delicious. Good location close to the medival walls. It is disappointing the the hotel does not have the own private parking. You have to use a public parking area that have the public charge. A sort of agreement for a reduced price would be better. It cost me more than 60€ for three days.

This hotel is very well located near the city centre and walking distance from the Place du Palais. Miriam at the reception was outstanding and very helpful when we arrived. The rooms are comfortable and very spacious, and ours was spotless, very clean. The buffet was good and the staff very friendly.

The hotel is nicely located just outside the city walls, 10-15 minutes walk to Palais des Papes. We stayed int he triple room which is of great size, and very convenient. It has a small sitting room separated from the bedroom by the sliding doors, so I could read without disturbing the kids when they were already asleep.

Despite booking two parking spaces at the hotel there was only one spot left into which my car barely fitted, and my brother had to park in the street. It was not a good start. The hotel was a further disappointment. The staff were unwelcoming and somewhat dismissive as if we were an intrusion. My room although functional and clean was unattractive with bare walls and aging furnishings which made it rather stifling. The hotel had certainly lost the elegance the frontage suggested it had once had. Our room felt as if it had been carved out of a once much larger room which left it with an odd inaccessible corner. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The outside terrace was closed. Breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed boiling our own eggs. The hotel was ideally situated to visit the sights and was not expensive.

Stayed two night. Well located just next to Avignon Centre train station. My room was facing the street. Soundproofing is lacking and there was some noise from the street. The room front door had no deadbolt or latch. Spacious room with large sitting area. Very dated decor. Major shortage of electrical outlets, which were all occupied. Room amenities included an electric kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom with everything in working order. Small shower cabin, good water pressure. Minimal toiletries (shampoo, bath gel and soap bar). Average wifi. Overall a fairly comfortable stay, but not what one would expect from a 4-star hotel.
