Hotel's Favourite
Perfect location on the Place de L'Horloge. We stayed for 7 nights touring Provence and completely enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable and the 4th floor was quiet. AC worked great, breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly. They even arranged our taxi from the TGV train station. Steps away from the main attractions and a large number of restaurants. We actually said perfect every day.

Great boutique hotel. Location was perfect. Walking distance to all sites. We stayed in a room facing a quiet street, our view was the clock and it was perfect. Breakfast is served in a small restaurant right outside of the hotel and it was very good. Our room was big, beds very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Had air conditioning which was perfect because the weather was hot. Will recommend to anyone.

Perfect location right on the place L_Horloge so very handy to Palais de Papes, Pont d'Avignon etc. We received exceptional customer service here. As often happens we arrived in Avignon ahead of the check-in time. We inquired at the front desk about storing our luggage until our room was available. They immediately took all of baggage off our hands and whisked it away. When we arrived to check in, everything was already up in our room. We've stayed in a lot of hotels in a lot of places and have never experienced this fantastic service. Usually when you arrive you collect your luggage from the storage area and take it up to your room yourself. I'd never given that much thought until our experience here. Our room was very compact as to be expected in an older building, but was perfectly acceptable for two of us. …

Well-situated for exploration of Avignon’s historic center, including the Palais des Papes, a 10 minute walk at the most away. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, although navigating each floor between stairs or elevators and your lodging can be a bit of a maze. This is ultimately part of the property’s old world charm. Breakfast buffets were extensive and delicious. I would definitely return if business brings me back in this direction.

Overall an enjoyable experience . The room , bed , and service were very good . But the cooked breakfast was poor quality , and the supply of fruit and yoghurt were inconsistent i.e.on some days were missing . There were no English speaking channels on the TV . However the location is excellent for the sights , bars , restaurants , and shops in the old town .

The hotel is located in the heart of the town, right next door to the historic building of the old town. It is worth splashing out a bit more on a more expensive room, nr 505 on the fifth floor has amazing views of the Papal palace from the rooftop and even an outside shower on the terrace for warm days. The hotel is very proud of their breakfast and rightfully so, especially giving its very pretty, verandah-like location. The breads and pastries as well as their butters were absolutely outstanding. The staff were reserved and non-intrusive in a very French way but always ready with help and answers when needed. Would definitely consider staying here again on a return trip to Avignon.

Very nice, the room was a bit small but the terrace made up for it. Don't make the mistake we did of trying to drive directly to the hotel, it is a pedestrian area. The Palais des Papes car park is very reasonable and only a few minutes' walk away.

Really nice small hotel right next to the Place de L’Horloge. Room was on the third floor so nice and quiet. Contrary to comments elsewhere our room (306) had a great bathroom with bath and good shower. Staff were very helpful and friendly and morning breakfast was ideal French petit déjeuner. Also very good value for money. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
